Llandudno, Wales - 18th June 2012

By: miapearl

We are in Llandudno today because last week, after visiting the Anderton Boat Lift, we stopped off at the theatre in Llandudno, for my host's son and husband to see a show. My host left a bag there, and only discovered it was missing yesterday.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-LgZM7vPeIQQ/T-rderqdKAI/AAAAAAAAGJM/ZLrlI89wP44/s500/venuecymru.jpg
It was a sunny day and we had a little rest on the promenade outside the theatre, after she got her bag back.
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-QnLT89EnhX8/T-rdj3fa4YI/AAAAAAAAGJk/fidbsb7XdAI/s500/twixxvc.jpg
The sea looks calm.

host's home, Germany - 9th July 2012

By: -[Dino]-

Hello from Germany Mummy! :)

Today I was woken up by talking outside my envelope. It sounded like excited voices. Someone was begging someone else to open my envelope and it felt as if something sprang onto the envelope!  :o

Then the envelope was opened and I still couldn't see anything except for something big and blue. Luckily the big blue thing could talk and seemed friendly enough. So I climbed out into the light. Turns out the big blue thing is also a TV. His name is Scritches and he is very nice. Because we instantly started talking about my adventures I nearly forgot what my previous host had put into my envelope with me so I wouldn't be completely alone and had something to get my mind off of my boring journey. ;)

I showed the postcard to Scritches and Katharina (who by the way says thank you :) ). Then Scritches and I continued talking way into the night. And Katharina told me she would take me outside and show me around once the weather got better and she could move her arm again (she got a booster shot at the doctor's today).

I'm excited for new adventures here!  :cyclops:

Love you Mummy!

host's home, Germany - 10th July 2012

By: -[Dino]-

Good morning Mummy! *yawn*

It's still way too early... But I have a job to do!  B)

Since Katharina had gotten a booster shot yesterday at the doctor's her arm hurt and she couldn't really move it.  :(

But because she had another doctor's appointment this morning at an eye specialist and they had drawn a blsod sample and hadn't managed to put a strong enough cover over the spot it looked kind of *eeew*. So we helped her put a band aid over it.  ;)

Look Mummy, I'm a big boy and could safely cut off a little piece of the big band aid Scritches held down. Together we pulled off the sticky parts and put in on the spot.

After Katharina had left I could go back to sleep. *zzzz*

Hello Mummy!

Since Katharina said we would go out once the weather got better I was watching the weather closely.

But look what it looked like outside. :( Aaaaall day loooong!! *sigh* And probably for the next days, too...  :stare:

Stereotypical British weather in Germany. And here I was thinking I had left the island...

Keep your fingers crossed for the weather to get better soon!!

Love you Mummy! <3

Mummy,

it's so boring here because we can't go out!  :( So we tried some acrobatics to pass some time!  B)

Look at what we can do!

I showed Scritches how a headstand is done and then I he tried it himself. Look! Now we can both do neat headstands!  :D

And yes, sometimes we fell, but we had so much fun!!  :cyclops:

Love you mummy! <3

To make things even worse Katharina had a lot of studying to do for an oral exam in two days.

We wanted to study, too. But tell you what, studying is soooo boring! Even worse than rain!  :o
So we decided to read a book instead. Katharina recommended the one she is reading at the moment to us. I liked it. :) And it's definitely better than studying!  :p

The only good thing about studing is that there are always cookies or some other type of sweets around. Yummy!  :cyclops:

Talk to you soon mummy!
