When BlackCat went out to visit her Mum this evening, she found a package in front of her door. She opened it and found Ninni inside the package. So we welcomed her very warm, too.

Graz, Austria - 24th April 2009

Hi Mom!
I just arrived safely here in Graz!
The weather is not really good today, so my host-mom decided that we start with exploring the flat. As it was still early in the morning, we started with a nice coffee. I helped of course and then had a coffee myself:
I'm going on with exploring the flat now!
Bye for now!

Hi Mom,
it's me again!
I forgot to tell you that I had met another TV, my host-mom's Tigger in the morning! He is quite excited to chat about my experience as a TV, because he's going on his first trip next week. He was a bit scared at first, but now he can't wait to start his journey.
I also had a look on the flat's balcony- they have already planted the first flowers and will soon plant more... Maybe I'll still be here then and can help?
I would have almost had completed my first mission, but I arrived a week to late for that: my host-dad had his birthday last Saturday... It would have been fun to celebrate...
...but at least I can still play with his huge baloon!
So, it's late now and I'm going to bed now. We'll do a lot of sightseeing tomorrow!
Love,
Germania

Morning, Mom
I slept in today- unfortunately the weather is not at its best today again... so I'm opting for couch-surfing today!
Yesterday we went to a farmer's market to buy loads of fresh salad and vegetables and after that we went to a supermarket. You can see on the picture that I've been a great help to my host-mom!
Mmmmm...getting sleepy again!
Bye for now,
yours, Germania

Hi Mom!
I've been to the airport! Even though the airport "Thalerhof" is quite small, it was pretty exciting. I watched people walking around, welcoming others or going of to holidays...
I wish I could also fly somewhere sunny... it's so stormy outside and rather chilly.
I also went to the terrace and watched the termac with the airplanes!
Bye for now!

Hi Mom!
Yesterday I met my host-mom's parents as I was invited to dinner. I looked at the lovely garden and pots with herbs. Then I had Berner Würstl with fries- yumm..
After dinner I met some other bears who are living with my host-grannies: Felix, the Burberry-Bear and a bear wearing a lobster costume... He is from Boston and told me everything about lobster! But I don't understand why he is always wearing the costume
So far my news!
Hope you are well at home!
Love, Germania

Graz, Austria - 29th April 2009

Hi Mom!
Let me tell you about my first trip to the inner city of Graz! We first went to the Franziskanerplatz. It's a beautiful place in the oldest part of Graz. In the summertime, the place is almost one big Schanigarten. There are several small restaurants and bars there and it has an Italian flair. Graz is also called Italy's most northern city
Then we went to the bank of the Mur and looked up at the Schloßberg. We will go there another time soon!
After that we went to the Murinsel. There is a little café on the island.
You can look a few things up in the wikipedia. I'll tell you more soon! But it's so beautiful here, even though the weather is still not really nice....

Hi Mom!
We explored the city some more and visited the Kunsthaus. It was also built for the Cultural Capital of Europe in 2003. You can see me on a model of the Kunsthaus, which was built for the blind, so they can touch it and know what the building looks like.
After exploring the Kunsthaus, we went for a coffee, resting our feet.
And after the coffee break we went back to the Mariahilferplatz and the Mariahilfer-Church.

Graz, Austria - 1st May 2009

Hi Mom!
Today I was invited for dinner and I enjoyed traditional Austrian food. I had Grießnockerlsuppe (it's a soup made of beef and has semolina dumplings in it) and Tafelspitz, which is the meat from which the soup is made. You serve it traditionally with potatoes and apple-horseraddish.
Yummi!
Did I ever tell you that another toyvoyager has arrived? Bubu from Spain! He arrived yesterday and he is another bear!
Bye for now!
