Hello Everyone!

I was JUST picked up at the International Drive Flea Market in Orlando, Florida.  I was just hanging on a rack with some other toys and I was getting so bored there. 
Then, Steph picked me up and smiled at me.  She told me I was going to be something special.  I was going to become a TRAVELING TOY VOYAGER!! 

Of course, I had to ask what that was.

But, it was okay, she had Emil explain to me--and other toy that Steph picked up in the flea market--when I got back on the charter bus.  The other toy backed out, but I was gladly willing to become a TOY VOYAGER!



When I get to my new home, I am going to start my new life!  I can't wait for this! 

I am officially in my new home! When I got here, I met Garfeild again.  It was so nice to see him.  I've truley missed that cat!



But, then I told him that I wanted to become a traveling toy voyager.  He didn't like that very much.  Steph told him that he could pick out each host for me, and he seemed to like the idea a bit better.

I'm thinking about going to new hosts.  Ones that have yet to host a tv.  I want to help others build up their credibility.  Sounds like a lot of fun to me!

Well, today I was sent out to wmphimu in Virginia.  I hope I have a REALLY great time! Hopefully, Emil was right about having fun on his travels!  I can't wait to have fun!

Just wish these postal workers were more gentle with me..

Well, that was a quick flight! I had settled in for nap when I heard voices. Sure enough, I had already arrived in Virginia! Plaid Moose & Fenway helped pull me out and welcomed me to Virginia!

I am already having such a fun trip! Yesterday we all went to see the Boston Red Sox play the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards in Baltimore! It took us about an hour to drive there, but we had fun in the car. Here we are on the Beltway as we drove into Maryland (can you see the "Welcome to Maryland" sign in the background?)

Plaid Moose said that the Beltway is really well known - it's the highway that goes around Washington DC, and people who aren't political insiders say that they are "Beltway outsiders". My host lives just outside of the Beltway!

The game was a lot of fun. It was beautiful out, and I really enjoyed watching the game!

Camden Yards is really distinctive because of the Warehouse that borders it:

I even helped to keep score for a few innings!

Hello! I've been very busy lately! (which is a lot of fun on vacation, right?) Over the weekend my host went in to Washington DC to see a play, and she let me tag along. Since we were going for an event, we didn't have much time for sightseeing. Luckily, I got to see a few of the monuments out of the car window!

That's the Potomac River with the Washington Monument & Jefferson Memorial in the background.
I found a cool statue in Penn Quarter that I liked...

And the play was right near the National Archives and the FBI Building!

This week we have stayed a little closer to home in Fairfax! Fairfax City is a nice place - there is a mix of new and old buildings. We had lunch in a new part of the city - here I am in front of the fountain...

Then we walked down the street to see the courthouse - it has been in use since the early 1800s!

I really liked the Civil War cannon & memorial!

I had such a fun night Friday! We went to Wolf Trap to see The Wizard of Oz! Wolf Trap is a National Park - the only U.S. National Park for the Performing Arts. It's a very popular place here to see concerts/plays/etc. - it's an outdoor pavilion with a huge lawn behind it. Sometimes Mara and her husband sit inside, but she really likes to sit on the lawn like we did Friday! You can bring a picnic and it's a lot of fun!  Here's a picture of it that I found online...

We saw a special performance - The Wizard of Oz was on a huge screen and the National Symphony Orchestra accompanied the movie with the score! It was amazing!

You can see the giant screen and the NSO is inside on the stage! Once it got dark, the movie started! I'm hard to see...I'm in the left corner of the screen! (and the NSO at the bottom!)

I have had a great visit in Virginia, but now it's time for my next adventure! I gave my friend Plaid Moose a hug goodbye...

...and I hopped on a first class flight to Pennsylvania! Plaid Moose has been to Pennsylvania before, so we think it will be a quick flight! (and Mara says my flight # is: 03080660000132520648) See you soon!
