Travelog for: Orion

Haywards Heath, UK - 27th September 2006

By: Wizza_D

My name is Orion and I want to be an astronaut! I am looking to the sky, look, there's the constellation that I was named after! Hunter! Meowl! Don't you think my pink collar, Orion's Belt, look pretty! My tag look cool too! Even a sub-orbital flight would be better than nothing! I look forwards to pre-release training with my companions!

I am showing Alpha who is Boss Cat around here! Alpha being a little upstart thought he could dominate through size and brute strength. Then I challenged him to a wrestling match, and gave him a fine demonstration of my judo skills.

India, being pacifist, is looking on with disgust at the A Team politics! Fine, he can stay out of it!

Tomorrow is an outdoor training class in Brighton, weather permitting! I don't like to get my fur wet and so I hope it doesn't rain!

Brighton, England - 29th September 2006

I went to Brighton for some space training. Instead, I discovered that Brighton was a seaside city and not Star City. Nothing spacey there at all! I was bored! It was damp, rained a bit, but at least my fur stayed dry!

You can see me having fish and chips with the A Team. I was good and didn't boss Alpha at all, and India made sure by sitting in the middle. In the background you can see the West Pier, a glorious wreck with a long history.

The amusement arcade on the pier was not my scene at all, a lot of noise and a lot of machine that eat money. Saw Alpha try to rescue some little unicorns that they might join us, but Alpha was not good at using the grabber so we were all a bit sad when we had to leave the unicorns in the cage. I didn't care at all for those ugly grinny frogs in the cage next door!

My keeper have promised that I will go to the Science Museum in London next training session. Now that something to look forwards to!

I got given as a Christmas present to a relative!!

Ooh it was cramped in the wrapping paper! Tighter than an Apollo capsule!

Because my old owner (Wizza_D) is willing but unfortunately unable to travel very far, he have wisely passed me on to a relative, who is well travelled.

Hope she can take me places! Space!

C'mon! NASA? Virgin Galactic? Space Adventures? or.... ?

(Sorry for the poor quality, Wizza forgot his digital camera and had to use his mobile phone instead!)

Theres a gigantic tree all lit up like the Cape Kennedy launch pad! There's a star at the top! Reach for the star!

Here I am attempting to climb the Christmas tree towards that star at the top! I'm near the top!

Drat! It's not a real star!

Big deal! Only 2 metres off the earth's surface!
