Goes, the Netherlands - 18th May 2007
By: icitaiwan
Andrea told me that I could join her to the Netherlands, and I was very happy about that, but what a flight! The flight to Amsterdam took 17 hours in total, so I was very happy when we finally arrived. Luckily we were traveling business class, so I had enough space to stretch my legs and have a good sleep.
Me on top of the personal TV. All those silly characters looked like "smashed mosquitoos" to me .

Goes, the Netherlands - 24th May 2007
By: icitaiwan
My host is addicted to Postcrossing, so she had to buy some postcards of Goes and Zeeland.
Here are some postcard images of the area where I'm staying now.
Goes is a city in the province of "Zeeland". Zeeland can be found on the map in the southwest of the Netherlands. It's also connected with neighbor country Belgium.
Can you find "Goes" on this map?

Goes, the Netherlands - 25th May 2007

I've joined Andrea on a trip to one of her friends. We had to drive for one hour, but I loved the view outside.
We saw so many nice things and so many family members of me. There are cows everywhere!
Me and a windmill.
Me and the countryside. It's so flat here. There aren't any mountains.
Andrea's friend have a lovely chair:

Barcelona, Spain - 28th May 2007
By: icitaiwan
I had to get up pretty early today, but I didn't mind that at all.
All the baggage was packed and we were ready to go.
We drove by car from Goes to Brussels in Belgium to take the flight. That sounds like a long drive, but Goes is pretty close to the Belgium border and the drive only took an hour or so.
We parked the car and checked in. Here I am with a boarding pass
After some shopping we went to the gate. Here I am with our airplane
And off we go (better said "went" )!!!

Barcelona, Spain - 29th May 2007

Our apartment was pretty good and in downtown Barcelona. Andrea and her family love to walk, so they decided to walk to the Sagrada Familia, probably the most famous building in Barcelona. Luckily they also had a babystroller with them, so I had the change to be lazy and save my beautiful legs .
This unfinished church was designed by Antoni Gaudi. He worked on this project for 40 years, until his death in 1926. Other people continued his project and they still have a lot of work to do.

While we were making pictures we saw other people making pictures of the Sagrada Familia with a monkey, what a coincidence!
This monkey already travelled around the world and had even flown in the "Air Force 1", WOW!
I really hope that I can see a lot of the world myself. Unfurtunatelly the monkey didn't have a website, only a travelbook.
