Neanderthal, Germany - 4th December 2011
By: Tom+Jerry
MUM!!!
I met the Neanderthals!!! raaawww and I were amazed!!!
On Sunday, we went to the famous Neanderthal near Mettmann.
First we had to pay the parking fees (as always and everywhere in Germany)
And then we went to the museum.
Many years ago, they found some skeletons of Neanderthals there.
The Neanderthal (short for Neanderthal man) is an extinct member of the Homo genus known from Pleistocene specimens found in Europe and parts of western and central Asia. Neanderthals are classified either as a subspecies of Homo sapiens (Homo sapiens neanderthalensis) or as a separate human species (Homo neanderthalensis).
The first proto-Neanderthal traits appeared in Europe as early as 600,000–350,000 years ago. Proto-Neanderthal traits are occasionally grouped with another phenetic 'species', Homo heidelbergensis, or a migrant form, Homo rhodesiensis.

Hey, our Christmas tree is ready now and it looks very nice. I climbed it together with raaawww
Afterwards, we had a look into the box with all the gifts that need to be wrapped for Christmas.
And we met some new friends, a group of singing angels. They are cute

Happy New Year
I'm doing good and travelled a lot the past weeks.
On Dec 24 we spent the Christmas Eve with the family. I slept in the crib, found a little snowman and received a lot of nice presents!

Norderney, Germany - 1st January 2012
By: Tom+Jerry
Brrrrrr.... it was quite cold at the coast. But we did it - we went into the water with our host. It's an old tradition on Norderney to go into the water on the first day of the year. It had about 4 degrees!

Lichtenfels, Bavaria, Germany - 5th January 2012
By: Yosemite
Hi Mummyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
I savely arrived at my new host familiy in Lichtenfels. Imagine, right now there is another TV dog here, it is the cute pink dog Klaus-Bärbel[tv]. He helped me out of the envelope.
Then I heard music! The bears who lives here played a welcome song for me! I think I will have a great time here.
I am very glad to be inside, because it is a stormy day in Germany.
Send you kisses!
Your Kibblet

Kleinziegenfeld, Germany - 7th January 2012
By: Yosemite
Dear Mummy!
This evening I was invited by hostmum and hostdad. We were in a nice restaurant. I tasted Bavarian beer. It is great!
Then the appetizers came. Hostmum had goat cheese with bacon, hostdad had a mushroom soup. Both very yummie!
The main dish was steak (hostdad) and gilthead (Dorade) for hostmum. I tasted both again. Both again veeeeeeeeeeeery yummie!
After that a needed an espresso as digestiv.
But there was even enough space for a dessert. We ordered cream brulee.
Now I am so full.....
Go to bed!
Love you, Mummy!
Your Kibblet
