Newport, Wales - 16th March 2008

By: Steve & Helly

I'm very excited. Here I am in Wales!

It was a shame the weather was so bad, although it did stop raining in Wales it was still bitterly cold.

It was very exciting travelling by 2CV. The car is so light it got blown all over the roads.

We travelled in convoy through some very narrow lanes and very steep hills. Some of the roads were flooded but we made it through. Pierre Bear told be not to be scared as he and Frankenstein would look after me.

Pontypool, Wales - 16th March 2008

Brr! It was so cold where we stopped to admire the view. Still, my friend Frankenstein looked after me. He isn't really all that scary.

Wroughton, England - 18th March 2008

By: Steve & Helly

Today I went with Helly to her work.

Here I am in her office. It's a very cosy office as it used to be a toilet!

Helly had just had a delivery of fabric to make bears with. I like these pink colours best, they're very soft.

I went exploring and I found two friends, a rabbit with a very long tail and a 'knit wit' cross eyed pig.

Dover, England - 21st March 2008

By: Steve & Helly

Guess what, I'm off to France for Easter!

I'm very excited although I'm a little bit nervous I might get lost and I don't speak much French, although Elephonse and Pierre Bear said they'd help me.

It took all day to get to Dover and then I had to wait to get on the boat.

Boulogne, France - 22nd March 2008

By: Steve & Helly

Hurrah, I'm in France at the Cap de Gris and it's VERY windy.

I'm glad I didn't blow away!

Look how high the waves are.

Cap de Blanc, France - 22nd March 2008

By: Steve & Helly

Brr! It's even windier up here. If anything the wind has picked up. I hope it dies down by tomorrow as the journey home will be VERY rough!

Old Boulogne, France - 23rd March 2008

By: Steve & Helly

What a lovely day I had today.

The old town of Boulogne is beautiful! I had great fun looking at all the old buildings, including the church and chateau.

After walking through the town I walked around the old ramparts and looked out over where the cars were parked.

Bremhill, England - 30th March 2008

By: Steve & Helly

Here I am in Bremhill. What a glorious view!

The monument was built to commemorate a lady called Maud Heath. She used to walk the seven miles from Bremhill to Chippenham to do her shopping. There was no footpath and the river very often flooded.
When Maud died she left a yearly donation in order to build a causeway all the way from Bremhill to Chippenham for others to use.

The monument goes a long way up. Maud sits on the top looking across the fields in the direction of Chippenham.

Avebury, England - 9th April 2008

By: Steve & Helly

Here I am in the morning by Silbury Hill.

Silbury Hill is the largest man-made hill in the world and no-one knows why it's there.

It was beautiful with the sun rising above it.

Avebury, England - 9th April 2008

By: Steve & Helly

It was very cold this morning so Pierre Bear kept me warm. It was worth it though . . .

Wow, so many stones!

Avebury stone circle is massive, it made me feel very small.

Here I am at The Avenue, a parade of stones leading to the circle.

Avebury, England - 9th April 2008

By: Steve & Helly

Pierre Bear decided he wanted to climb on the stones.

It took me ages, it was a long way up!  I stopped half way on a convenient ledge to get my breath back.

The Billy Goat put us to shame by reaching us in one leap!

Calne, England - 15th April 2008

By: Steve & Helly

It's my last day today. I spent the evening talking to some very nice Toy Voyagers who arrived today. I was very sad to be leaving but excited as I'm on my way to America.

I decided to try out my new climbing skills as I wanted to get closer to the Alpina clematis which was in flower. It was very beautiful.

Bye Pierre Bear, I hope we meet again some day.

Grand Junction, Colorado, USA - 29th April 2008

By: wourpet

I arrived in Colorado today and met Snuggles and Bumble.  Bumble is leaving tomorrow so we went outside to see what he has been doing.

He asked us to fly up into a big tree to help him pollinate but Snuggles and I climbed the tree instead.

Today was a BLUSTERY day!  Today Snuggles and I met a new friend and we went outside to play.  We did not get far because the wind had blown leaves and flowers all over the ground.  It was raining flower petals.
