Good morning and wonderful evening

It was the most wonderful morning! First I got flowers and had a nice cup of coffee. Then I started cycling towards work. I was not in a hurry, so I stopped to take sun and watch flowers.

My host really has a strange job... She can have fun all the time! Today we went to an excursion by the lake. There was a playground and a fireplace and lots of birds singing. And one snake...

It was wonderful to cycle home in the evening sun. The sun is really setting so late here, after 22.00.

Luxembourg: No Participation at Eurovision 2012

"The Luxembourgian broadcaster RTL has decided that the Duchy will not send an entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Azerbaijan. Luxembourg was one of the founding members of the Eurovision Song Contest but has not participated since 1993. But I like the Eurovision Song Contest!!! Today I watched the 2nd semi final and I think Sweden will win!!!

Another working day  

Today we were helping in a picnic concert. Can you see a flower I helped to paint? During the concert I was so busy that I have no photos of it. But I enjoyed listening!

In the evening I watched Black Swan. Great dancing but the story is very dark

Spa

Today my host took me to a spa. On the way there (we were cycling of course) I saw a skiing center, the ski jump hill and a slope. Summertime it is used by downhill drivers.

In the spa we were almost alone and it was great! I enjoyed everything but I was not sure if I'm allowed to swim... I stayed by the pools when the others swam. Just in case 

While cycling home we saw a rabbit  It was just looking at us for a while and then slowly jumped away. Very cute!

Last night Sweden won the Eurovision Song Contest. I knew it!!! 

Last night the apple trees started to blossom in our yard! 

Today I spent 3 hours at the flee market with my host. She bought some clothes, shoes, movies and LOTS OF postcards  And I met KILLI, a dino turtle 

After that we went bowling. The bowling ball was very heavy but I got it rolling after all.  My host was a little bit better in bowling than me but I still had a good time!

Library and exhibition

After work we decided to cycle to the library. I saw millions of books  and found my favorite Mamma Moo books, too. Mamma Moo is like me: she reads, swings, slides and... Well, Mamma Moo got an adhesive plaster but I took a pill because I'm afraid I might be LACTOSE INTOLERANT 

In the library was also an interesting exhibition. And think about this: those people were my size

ToyVoyager meeting

Today I met lots of traveling toys! RikeH from Germany, mmm105 and Reissari met with their traveling toys, first in Kirkkopuisto (Church park) and later in HarjunPaperi, the best card shop in town. And there was a postcrossing meeting going on  It was so great to meet all the toys and people, too 

After all that excitement (I even met my frog- brother Telie!!!) we went to eat some salad and pizza. On the way home I saw some interesting bicycles...

It was such a green morning, I decided to bake! And this is how I did it!

Postcrossing meet-up

Today I had a chance to attend an postcrossing meeting. I met 11 postcrossers and several toyvoyagers. I signed lots of cards and ate some... ate LOTS of strawberries 

Once again I found great postcards in the best postcard shop in Jyväskylä, Harjun Paperi is the name of the shop.

One more time "on the road" in Finland

We stopped to a self service kiosk, took ice cream from the freezer and cards from a box and left the money in the money box. Wonderful business!

In Kuortane we visited a camp by a lake -beautiful!!!

Naissaari 1

Just a little outside of Jyväskylä there is a beautiful small island called Naissaari.

Naissaari has a fascinating cultural and historical entity on the Vaajakoski river's side, which combines nature, culture and attractions. On the island is located a high-quality  coffee shop, antique shop, antique store,  design shop, open-air theater, beach, an exhibition area and Old Woimala, power plant. On the island there is also the busiest lock of Keitele channel.

I saw "wild animals" and a snail, flowers and all kind of beauty... And mom, don't worry: I was careful

Dandelion seed heads

Little by little I'm packing to return home... Today I made a walk to Vuorilampi bond nearby. I held my feet in the water (dogs were not allowed, no mention about cows  ) and enjoyed the sun!

One of my secret dreams was to blow dandelion seeds... And I did it!!!

My last day in Finland

These last days I have been busy packing and getting ready to travel. This is also very exciting 

Tomorrow I will start my voyage back home. With a friend...
