Travelog for: Lazurus

San Diego, California, United States - 27th February 2011

By: Xadrian

Greetings...
They call me Vincent, but in order to hide my true identity I have given myself the new name of Lazurus.  I have woken after a long slumber in my coffin and have decided I would like to travel the world.

If you could offer your assistance in my travel I would be forever thankful.  So dear visitor, will you be my gracious host?

San Diego, California, United States - 5th March 2011

There was a most annoying knock on my coffin this morning!

It was my mentor trying to wake me up!  Doesn't she know vampires are suppose to sleep during the day?!

Nevertheless, I humored her and got up.  It seems she got my passport in the mail and that meant one thing... it was time to travel.

Well, I shall be without my coffin for awhile, hopefully my next host will provide a soft bed for me.

Pooh, after several days  I could crawl out of the envelope - I tell you, a coffin is more comfortable.
ah, and where did I mislay my head?? Well, I sorted myself to be able to say hello to two other toyvogers welcoming me.

Amberg, Germany - 5th April 2011

By: Pandamao

I went on a trip to the North-East of Bavaria - Amberg. It is a nice little town and I strolled through the old city center.

München, Germany - 16th April 2011

By: Pandamao

I went for a walk in the English Garden - it is a huge park in the middle of Munich. Inside the park there is a Chinese tower and a beergarden.

Right next to the English garden is the residence of the Bavarian King (there is no more king nowadays). In front of the entrance there are bronze lions - it is said that rubbing their noses brings luck - I rubbed real hard  :D

I thought this might be the castle to live in .... but then, it is a museum for Egyptian art nowadays .... I would have to share the space with mummies??? I would like to have my very own coffin, so the search for a castle to live in will continue.

München, Germany - 18th April 2011

By: Pandamao

I helped my host to go shopping in the city center. To compensate for the waiting while she tried on clothes she showed me the Munich opera house and the Marienplatz.

Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Germany - 24th April 2011

For the Easter weekend we went back to Sulzbach-Rosenberg. For Easter wells are decorated with painted eggs and ornaments. We visited a well near the house - really nice decorations!

Tegernsee, Germany - 6th May 2011

By: Pandamao

my host invited me to a day trip to the Bavarian mountains. I had to get up early and take the train to Tegernsee.
There are a lot of traditional houses, nice to look at. But we did not stay in town but hiked up to the mountain top. It was great to take a rest in the sun ... with beautiful view.

Riederstein, Germany - 6th May 2011

By: Pandamao

After our rest we climbed up to the top of the Riederstein. On top of the Riederstein there is a small chapel. It is just space enough for the chapel and a small bench to sit on and admire the view down to the Tegernsee.
