On an archeological site, Somewhere in the desert... - 17th July 2007
By: Mistigree
My name is Philéas. I'm an archeologist above all. Some months ago, I went on a dig in the desert and managed a whole team of archeologists. We were looking for old ToyVoyagers mummies, who where supposed to be laid to rest in this area.
We first found a stone with 3 characters engraved on it (2 of them seemed to be ToyVoyagers, there were a falcon and a kind of dog. The 3rd character was a human, maybe a ToyVoyagers' God ?)
Then, some days later, we finally found an underground temple and after having completely explored it, we came across a secret room where was lying a mummy.
I helped to take the mummy's wrappings off, and discovered the body of -supposed- Travelâton 1st, who was one of the first ToyVoyager ever. His body should be sent to ToyVoyager Central as a relic soon.

I also discovered a mosaic flooring here in France, which might be dating from the Roman Empire. I'm now working on it, trying to restore it, as it has been damaged by the time.

Vieux-Boucau forest, France - 17th July 2007
By: Mistigree
I like exploring the forest and I'm curious about flora and trees. I do not hesitate to climb up the trees and take a sample of sap on sick trees in order to treat them.
One day, I wish I could see the giant fossilized sequoia trunk in the National History Museum of London !

Toulouse, France - 17th July 2007
By: Mistigree
I have a passion for insects and spend time to observe them with my magnifying glass. This caterpillar was on Mistigree's balcony and there were even babies caterpillar later, but Mistigree got rid of them !
I hope one day, I'll discover an unknown insect and that it will be given my name !
That one is a kind of cockchafer we can find into the sand of the dunes in Vieux-Boucau, near the Atlantic Ocean.

Stroud, NSW, Australia - 2nd August 2007
By: Prowl_Worshipper
I arrived safe and sound in Stroud (Australia!) yesterday, and was greeted by Prowl Worshipper's TV.
What a lovely little monsieur Rama is! I gave Prowl Worshipper -oh, Rama is telling me to call her Nik- the sweets and postcard Mistigree sent for her and she was very happy!
Another TV arrived as I did - Barclay from Sydney but unfortunately Rama was a little frightened by him.
I have been not energetic enough yet to look around properly but this seems to be a quiet, pretty little town. I'm itching to get my paws into some digging! I wonder what archaelogical treasures I might unearth here? I have seen many different insects already, but have not yet been able to sneak up on any. Soon, soon...!

Ooh la la! Tonight I was certain I had discovered a new form of insect life, and I was terribly excited!
Then Rama delicately pointed out they were just Sea-Monkeys, some tiny aquatic pets belonging to Nik.
I was rather disappointed, but some pouches filled with unknown substances warranted some investigation.
They turned out to be simply food and other supplies for the Sea-Monkeys, but I was fascinated by the composition.
They required further study...

The pouches turned up nothing unexplainable, so I decided to read one of Rama's many books. Barclay wanted to read it too, so after a heated debate we decided to share.

Ah the charm of this petite country town! Stroud has so many historical buildings, and they are uniquely Australian.
Barclay and I said au revoir to Rama at the Post Office, and it made me a little homesick for France and my Mistigree, but I know Rama will look after her and vice versa.

Barclay and I wanted to see Stroud Court House, but it is only open to the public now and then, so we had to be content with reading the history of it and a photo.
One of Stroud's local legends is that of a still-unsolved murder committed in 1878. The McAskell murders were the first trial ever held in this court house. It used to have cells and live-in police quarters but they were torn down by the 1930s.
