Today is Valentine's Day. A day of love. A day when many humans give each other flowers to say I like you.
I went with Boris' Human2 and Edgar daKitty to the office and we were surprised by a new friend...
This is Flora and we are very happy to meet her!
We got to know each other while Human2 spent the day doing work things.

We spent the night at the office (don't worry we were having a sleep over with our new friends).
We woke up when every one came back into to start their day.
The best thing we did today is we got to sit and watch the birds at the bird feeder.
Here is a nice little Chickadee that came by to have lunch with us!
There were a lot more but the humans scared them away!
After lunch we were all put to work by Human2. She wanted us to help her sort and box a bunch of dog toys that were being donated by her company to dogs at shelters. I think this is a very nice thing to do as many of these dogs have never had a toy or know what it is like to play with some one that loves them.
Here we are gathering all the toys.
Once we had them all gathered up we had to sort them by size into boxes to go out to the shelters and rescue groups that are waiting for the donations.
We had to be very careful that we did not fall into the boxes because the dogs would love to put the bitey on us too!
It felt so good to help out all those animals in need. I was very proud to be a part of DogToys.com's donation efforts.

We really wish Spring was here but it is still cold in PA. Today we are going to get Pansies for our hosts garden. It is a nice clear day but very windy and cold. How do those little flowers survive this cold?
So many pretty colored flowers to choose from.
I really like the yellow ones. They make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside like sunshine!
We are taking this one home with us becuase it has a pretty face.
Now to get back inside out of the cold!

Fritzlar, Germany - 22nd April 2012
By: Dr.Kröbner
Hi Mum,
me again...
Yesterday we made a trip to Fritzlar.
first we had to drive by car , the weather was pretty good....sunshine ....
Fritzlar is a small German town (pop. 15,000) in the Schwalm-Eder district in northern Hesse, 160 km (99 mi) north of Frankfurt, with a storied history. It can reasonably be argued that the town is the site where the Christianization of northern Germany (north and east of the Roman Limes) began and the birthplace of the German empire as a political entity. The town has a medieval center ringed by a wall with numerous watch towers. Thirty-eight meters (125 ft) high, the Grauer Turm ("Grey Tower") is the highest remaining urban defense tower in Germany
On the plate some information about Fritzlar...
here you have this great view......
The St. Peter's Cathedral is one of the most beautiful Romanesque-Gothic churches in Hesse.
Three-aisled basilica
The Cathedral of Fritzlar measures 43 meters (from the basement to the top). He continues to shape the cityscape of the small town in the Schwalm-Eder-Kreis (formerly Circle Fritzlar-Homberg). The three-aisled basilica in Fritzlar is considered one of the most beautiful in Germanyl
I must tell you something about the weather in Fritzlar...brrrr...no spring in the air, but a great winterfeeling, with rain and wind....what a pitty.. ...
...here you see the biggest halftimbered house in hesse,
"das Hochzeitshaus" the wedding house
next stop... the Garvensburg The castle was built in 1894-1898 by industrialist William Garvens, who was knighted in 1908 and afterwards called William of Garvens. He built a hunting lodge in the style of the late period, a castle-like villa, surrounded by an English garden
here I´m sitting over the Edersee, also called the Eder dam is 11.8 square kilometers of water surface, with 199.3 million cubic meters of storage space in terms of area and volume two-third largest Reservoir in Germany and is located on the Fulda-Eder inflow.
The Edersee Dam is a hydroelectric dam constructed between 1908 to 1914 across the Eder river, near the small town of Waldeck in northern Hesse, Germany, it lies at the northern edge of the Kellerwald. The dam is primarily used to generate hydroelectric power and to regulate water levels for shipping on the Weser river.
that was a nice trip
hugs
your Mary Möf
