Travelog for: Candy Cotton

Weee, Eddy Bear, Grumpy and I got an offer to go to downtown Los Angeles to see where one of our hosts works.  Grumpy decided not to go but for us, its Hi-Ho, Hi-ho, its off to work we go!  I was lucky enough to get my own seat on the bus.


From the bus, we transfer to the subway, called the Metro here in Los Angeles.


My very own seat again.  I hope its not something I said.



Lots of tall buildings in downtown. 


They have little malls in downtown as well.



They really get into the holidays here and I can't wait to see the tree big enough for these ornaments!

Its not all hard work and big buildings, they have nice little areas as well.

Time to take the Metro home.  Are you ready Eddy?

Sunset boulevard at night, in the rain.  Very exciting.  Grumpy and I are going to see a movie.


We are live at the Hollywood Palladium.


That is one large fellow (you can barely make him out just over my shoulder).

Popcorn? check.  Soda?  check.  3D glasses?  check.  Grumpy?  check.  We are ready for the movie.


What a large Christmas tree.  Room for lots of presents.


Don't look now Grumpy but I think there is someone behind us.


It's a snowman carrying presents and us.


Dinner at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles.  Yum.


Maybe just a little nap on this bench with Grumpy.  It was a nice day.

It's Christmas Time!  I am about to experience a California Christmas.


Stockings are hung by the fireplace.


Wheeeeee, Grumpy and I are hanging out in the stocking.


The tree is trimmed.

Happy Christmas everyone.  I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe, fun holiday season. 

Grumpy and I went down to Hollywood Boulevard to see some stars.


A crowd gathers, I wonder what is going on?


Its famous comic-book writer, Stan Lee, getting a Star added to Walk of Fame in Hollywood


Wow, there are lots of people about.


Mr. Lee, over here.

So close, yet so far.


Now he is whisked away in a chauffered limosine.


Wow, famous artist Todd McFarlane is signing autographs.


Grumpy, pay attention, this is our first celebrity meeting.  Nice to meet you Mr. McFarlane. 


Grumpy, here is the newest star added to the Walk of Fame today.


Let's go to Grauman's Chinese Theater.  We have to get closer.


This looks like a fun place to see a movie.


You could say we are following in the footsteps of Tom Hanks!


I feel like we are in good hands, Grumpy.


Its the El Capitan theater, Disney's own movie theater.


I would guess that Tron is playing, but we already saw that and in 3D too.


The Kodack theater.  I wonder if I can seats to the Academy Awards there?


Hollywood and Highland has an interesting theme.


I really made it to Hollywood.  But how do I know I made it?


Because there I am!  Best wishes to everyone from Hollywood. 

Someone new is arriving.  Very exciting. 


Gray, Pink, Gwyn, Grumpy and I all gathered around to greet Claire.


She seems very nice.


We are ready for the next adventure.

We have our own seat on a plane!  Claire, Grumpy and I are up, up and away.


This is more fun than traveling by mail.


Grumpy, are we there yet?


Time to sample the nightlife on the Las Vegas strip.


Lets go to the Mirage casino.


Time to try our luck on the machines.

This is comfy.  Maybe I will just rest my eyes for a minute. zzzzzzzzz

This was lots of fun.


This was a great trip and we are back safe and sound in Los Angeles.
