Hi mum! It's King's Day. King Willem Alexander celebrates his birthday. All around the country there are festivals, flee markets, fairgrounds and other festive activities. But first we eat a 'oranje tompoes'. An orange cake, because orange is the Netherland's national colour.

We head into the city center. Next to the station there's a tulip field with two gigant cups and saucers in it. What a beautiful colours!

Along the canals there's a flee market. Notice how a lot of people are dressed in orange for the occasion! Everyone is looking for a bargain or... is selling his old junk.

City Center Delft, Netherlands - 20th May 2018

I'm making a sentimental journey through Delft. Because… I decided to leave. I'm going to Italy! This is a part of Delft I haven't seen very often. It's along the Kanaal (Channel). The first picture is the familiar Oostpoort (East Gate). The second shows me with the Rietveld Toren (Rietveld Tower) with the New Church behind it and the third is a nice shot of the Kanaal with beautiful trees.

I'm sharing my last photo's from Delft. I take my souvenir from Keukenhof with me. I'm saying goodbye to my fellow-TV's. We're having some Dutch candy and I'm taking some with me aswell. And then I get in my ultra hip envelope. I'm on my way!
