Here am I with Lithuanian flag. You can count that as one of a part of my life missions as this flag has some red.

This trip to another host wasn't so long but I felt asleep so fast. Here am I sleeping with Katyte. She is such a good pet and friend.

Here am I with Mr.S.
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/P4173282.jpg

Strasbourg, France - 1st May 2010

By: egn

Dear Mummy,

here you have some marvellous views of Strasbourg. I likes this city so much! It belonged to France, then to Germany, to France, for a very long time-to Germany, and now it belongs to France. It is said that people of Alsace (the region in which Strasbourg takes place) are the trulliest citizens of France as they loves French culture the most.
Now Strasbourg is a capital of EU.
http://i1014.photobucket.com/albums/af263/kelione2010/Strasburas/P4213541.jpg
We found Lithuania's flag there.
http://i1014.photobucket.com/albums/af263/kelione2010/Strasburas/P4213550.jpg
I liked the atmosphere of this city. So many little bridges makes this city su historical and even mistical. So many feelings take place there:inteligence, friendship, warm and nostalgia.

The famous Strasbourg cathedral.

Paris, France - 1st May 2010

By: egn

Dear Mummy,

can you believe me, I have visited Paris! Walking around there was the best thing in this trip. I felt there like every minute from a corner I can see a man/woman with white huge wig! That was something amazing...
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Kelione/P4223797.jpg
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Kelione/P4223792.jpg
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Kelione/P4223983.jpg
And I saw the Eiffel Tower. It looked quiet strange... I will never understand modern art. Illusions about white wigs were gone.
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Kelione/P4223984.jpg
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Kelione/P4223986.jpg
We decided to got on to the top of this tower.
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Kelione/P4223988.jpg
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Kelione/P4224031.jpg
The view was just marvellous. It was worth every minute waited to get on this building.

http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Kelione/P4223991.jpg
By the way, we found an information about Lithuania there. That was quiet odd.

Lazdijai, Lithuania - 2nd May 2010

By: egn

Dear Mummy,

today is the Mummy's Day in Lithuania, so congratulations, Mummy.
Egn told me that this holiday usualy takes place in the first sunday of May in Lithuania, but in the second sunday of May in other countries.
Egn is extremely sick (she cought a cold in the end of Spring! Isn't that strange...?) so the only thing we can do is to bake a cake for you.
At first I found a recipe. This cake is called "Viennese cottage cheese pie".
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Zaislai%201/Zaislai%201/P5054406.jpg
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Zaislai%201/Zaislai%201/P5054408.jpg
I showed it to others TVs and they agreed that it is a great idea to congratulate our mums.
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Zaislai%201/Zaislai%201/P5054411.jpg
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Zaislai%201/Zaislai%201/P5054409.jpg
This is what we need to make the best cottage cheese pie ever:
0,5 kilo cottage cheese
6 eggs
6 spoons of butter
1 glass of sugar
1-2 handful of raisins
a bit baking powder
a spoon of starch
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Zaislai%201/Zaislai%201/P5054412.jpg
There were so many things to do that we distributed our works.
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Zaislai%201/Zaislai%201/P5054413.jpg
Bella de Koe put cottage cheese in a bowl.
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Zaislai%201/Zaislai%201/P5054435.jpg
S mixed egg white with sugar.
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Zaislai%201/Zaislai%201/P5054428.jpg
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Zaislai%201/Zaislai%201/P5054435.jpg
I put 6 spoons of butter and melted it in an oven.
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Zaislai%201/Zaislai%201/P5054438.jpg
That is how it should look when you put everything together.
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Zaislai%201/Zaislai%201/P5054440-1.jpg
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Zaislai%201/Zaislai%201/P5054441-1.jpg
We put it in forms.
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Zaislai%201/Zaislai%201/P5054454.jpg
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Zaislai%201/Zaislai%201/P5054442-1.jpg
Lets bake! We baked this pie in about 200C for 45 minutes.
Lets look.
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Zaislai%201/Zaislai%201/P5054461.jpg
The pie was just perfect and it smelled lovely.
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Zaislai%201/Zaislai%201/P5054557.jpg
We are a great team.
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Zaislai%201/Zaislai%201/P5054523.jpg
Hugs, Mum. I have already missed you.

Lazdijai, Lithuania - 13th May 2010

By: egn

Dear Mummy,

I have a nice walking in Lazdijai this evening. It was a bit cold so we didn't waked much. But here is what I saw in this beautiful little town, where both town and country side found place in. Do you know that in Lazdijai distict are more than 200 lakes?
  A nice St.Ana's church.

http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Lazdijai%20ir%20mamos%20ft/P5094798.jpg
A nice place where mostly teenagers gather to spend Friday evenings. Many years before this place was built for country side dances and sometimes it still take place here.

Lazdijai, Lithuania - 14th May 2010

By: egn

Brangi Mamyte/Dear Mummy,

living in Lithuania means experiencing rain every day. They even have an expression: "Cia Lietuva, cia lietus lija" in English it is "Here is  Lithuania ( a rain land), here rains are raining". That means that everything can happen here. However, this phrase isn't used when good things happens. It looks more suitable for describing bad things.
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Sode%201/P5144970.jpg
Neverthless, Lithuania is beautiful and rain gives to it a bit charm. Here is what we have because of rain.
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Sode%201/P5144895.jpg
A beautiful apple tree.
http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr85/eglute_album/Sode%201/P5144899.jpg
