Hi Mummy!

I got to my other host today! Despite the fact that I travelled in the same country I feel very happy to smell fresh wet grass.
Here am I still in an envelope

Look what I got to egn. She was happy to see this nice postcard.

Here am I with Lithuanian flag. You can count that as one of a part of my life missions as this flag has some red.

This trip to another host wasn't so long but I felt asleep so fast. Here am I sleeping with Katyte. She is such a good pet and friend.

Hey Mum!

  Mr.S reached us yesterday! I'm so happy to know that I'll travel to other countries with another TV. Havn't I told you that I'll go to Prague, Paris, Strasbourg and Berlin?
Here am I with Mr.S.

  Today we went outside to plant some flowers and enjoy warm sun. That was such an amazing day.

  I and Mr.S had a task- to plant some Greek thimbleweeds.


[img]We got everything we needed: flower seeds, some mold and white flowerpot.


So, we started our work. We put mold and then some seeds.

I hope they will grow well until we will come back from our trip. I have to checked them when I'll be back.

Dear Mummy,

  today we made some salads. They were engs favourits ones. I have to admit they were very delicious.
At first you have to chop almonds to a half.

Then chop grapes, which are without bones or take their bones out.

And the third step- choppig  chicked.

Dear Mummy,

  I'll travel to Strasbourg, Paris, Prague and Berlin this week. I can't wait to go there! Ofcause, that means that you won't hear from me anything for about a week. Egn is very sorry for that. We hope that you won't be mad at her.

I'll travel with Mr.S. That should be fun XD

Dear Mummy,

  I'm happy to tell you that I came back from my trip. We have just unpacked our things (there were so many of them!) and I was alowed to write you.
  Egn had so little time to take photos that she took just a couple of them with me. Our guide was in a big hurry so there were no time to take me of the bag.
Here I am in Prague near beautiful building in old town.


But she made some nice photos without me.

Dear Mummy,

  here you have some marvellous views of Strasbourg. I likes this city so much! It belonged to France, then to Germany, to France, for a very long time-to Germany, and now it belongs to France. It is said that people of Alsace (the region in which Strasbourg takes place) are the trulliest citizens of France as they loves French culture the most.
Now Strasbourg is a capital of EU.

We found Lithuania's flag there.

I liked the atmosphere of this city. So many little bridges makes this city su historical and even mistical. So many feelings take place there:inteligence, friendship, warm and nostalgia.

Dear Mummy,

  can you believe me, I have visited Paris! Walking around there was the best thing in this trip. I felt there like every minute from a corner I can see a man/woman with white huge wig! That was something amazing...



And I saw the Eiffel Tower. It looked quiet strange... I will never understand modern art. Illusions about white wigs were gone.


We decided to got on to the top of this tower.


The view was just marvellous. It was worth every minute waited to get on this building.


By the way, we found an information about Lithuania there. That was quiet odd.

Dear Mummy,

  I want to introduce you someone. This is a Lietuvaite (Lithuanian girl), she wears a traditional Lithuanian dress. She is an individual traveler. We met her in the begining of our trip. Bu the way, she had her trip paid by Europarliament member L.Andrikiene. She organized our trip as well, so we are very thankfull. I forgot this building name... Maybe someone from Berlin can help me to remember?

I liked this the most.

Dear Mummy,

  today is the Mummy's Day in Lithuania, so congratulations, Mummy.
  Egn told me that this holiday usualy takes place in the first sunday of May in Lithuania, but in the second sunday of May in other countries.
  Egn is extremely sick (she cought a cold in the end of Spring! Isn't that strange...?) so the only thing we can do is to bake a cake for you.
At first I found a recipe. This cake is called "Viennese cottage cheese pie".


I showed it to others TVs and they agreed that it is a great idea to congratulate our mums.


This is what we need to make the best cottage cheese pie ever:
0,5 kilo cottage cheese
6 eggs
6 spoons of butter
1 glass of sugar
1-2 handful of raisins
a bit baking powder
a spoon of starch

There were so many things to do that we distributed our works.

Bella de Koe put cottage cheese in a bowl.

S mixed egg white with sugar.


I put 6 spoons of butter and melted it in an oven.

That is how it should look when you put everything together.


We put it in forms.


Lets bake! We baked this pie in about 200C for 45 minutes.
Lets look.

The pie was just perfect and it smelled lovely.

We are a great team.

Dear Mummy,

  we went to Sejny today. It was such a nice trip and so unexpected!
  Here we are-all waiting to head to Sejny.

Despite the fact that this town isn't so far from Lazdijai, Lithuania (just about 20 km) it is very beautiful and different. Here is a map of this district.

I saw a nice statue there.

Polands are very religious people, they charish their churches. I saw one there.



Near church I saw a nice chapel.

In Sejny lived very famous Lithuanian writer Antanas Baranauskas.


Wooden statues are very famous in both Lithuania and Poland.



I saw Lithuanian Ambassy/Konsulat there as well.

Dear Mummy,

  egn was full of surprises today. Straight from Sejny we headed to Druskininkai! This marvellous city is famous with his unusual architecture and festivals. Despite the fact that it is far from Lithuania's capital Vilnius, many national and international festivals take place exactly here.
Here is a nice church of Druskininkai. You can compare style of church in Sejny and of church in Druskininkai.

There are so many beautiful little statues in Druskininkai. I think there are over 100 of them.


"Europ day" festival took place in Druskininkai that day. The purpose of this festival-tolerance. People with disabilities showed their works and played with instruments so beautiful, gypsies showed theyr dayly life and so on.
The whoile city was decorated with Lithuania's flags.




I saw Russian church there as well.

The end of the evening we spent playing bowling. Here I am trying to lift a heavy ball.


Here we are, trying to choose the best ball.



And I won!!!

Dear Mummy,

  I have a nice walking in Lazdijai this evening. It was a bit cold so we didn't waked much. But here is what I saw in this beautiful little town, where both town and country side found place in. Do you know that in Lazdijai distict are more than 200 lakes?
  A nice St.Ana's church.


  A nice place where mostly teenagers gather to spend Friday evenings. Many years before this place was built for country side dances and sometimes it still take place here.

Dear Mummy,

  I visited a border of Lithuania and Belarus today. I really enjoyed this trip. Take a look at photos, I have made. Sorry for the quallity of photos, egn's photo camera cracked. And you may not believe me, but I traveled with her mother and her job company! That was strange...
  I visited a nice homestead.



In the other side of this river you can actually see Belarus.

Brangi Mamyte/Dear Mummy,

  living in Lithuania means experiencing rain every day. They even have an expression: "Cia Lietuva, cia lietus lija" in English it is "Here is  Lithuania ( a rain land), here rains are raining". That means that everything can happen here. However, this phrase isn't used when good things happens. It looks more suitable for describing bad things.

Neverthless, Lithuania is beautiful and rain gives to it a bit charm. Here is what we have because of rain.

A beautiful apple tree.

And our cute flowers, which I and S  have planted before our trip to Europ, grow so beautifully.

We met egn's favourited animal in Lithuania - a snail! This one looks so friendly.

  Another apple tree. This one smells so lovely! I can't stop smelling it!

  And I even saw some chickens!

  A beautiful olive bush, which is going to bloom in the end of this month.

    Cherry tree. It looks very different to sakura.

    I met an old snail. You can see that she is old on her shelf. I said "hello" to her.

  Brangi Mamyte/Dear Mummy,

  today we headed to egn's favourite shopping place.She needed a dress but she bought 4 pairs of shoes insteed! That's crazy... Now she has 15 pairs of shoes for summer.
  Here we are, all ready and axious to travel.

Egn just loves these paintings on walls. I find them beautiful too. However, it is an art after all and everyone understands it in different way.

We got to another shopping centre. Here what I have seen in streets from there.


  Our last stop in  Suwalki was garden shop. Egn bought a beautiful bush for her garden there.
