Happy Mother's Day!!!!!!

Hi mum,
Graham and I are cooking a very Italian dish: pasta!
Look how skilful we are!

We need these ingredients:

- tomato and grillaed aubergines
- a few onion and garlic
- pasta

firs of all we put onion and garlic in a pan, then we add vegetables.
We put our pasta in a pot full of boiling water and we wait a few minutes.

Our pasta is ready to be eaten!

Hi mum,
look how unlucky we are! We wanted to go out to visit an international exposition of roses but we found a hole in the tyre of our car. We tried to do our best to repair it but it started raining and we decided to wait for some help. I'm so disappointed!

after the problem with our car, my friends and I visited the International Exposition of Roses! It was really beautiful and we enjoyed it!

I'm close to a small lake in the park of Monza, my host promised to takeme to the Lake of Como before I left Italy!!!

Hi mum,
for my last days in Italy my host takes me and my friend Graham to the Lake of Como, in a small lovely town called Varenna. First of all we decided to eat something, then we are ready to start our visit.
The sight is so beautiful here!

Hello from Germany!

I made my way and arrived safely in Mechterstädt, a village in Thuringia.

When I crawled out of my envelope I was welcomed by another TV: Claire  Tamias. I am sure we will have a good time.

Tonight we went to Eisenach theatre.



Pupils of Abbe School performed songs and plays. This photos was taken before the show because during it was too dark...

Hello from Eisenach!

This town is about 15km from the village and my host
goes there quite often. Today she showed me a little of the town
famous for Luther and Bach.

We started at the Bach House, a museum today. You can see the
old part where Johann Sebastian Bach was supposedly born. A new
house was added some time ago.







Then we went to the Luther House, where Martin Luther lived when
he was a school child. It is a museum today, too.





We carried on and went to the market square with the Georgen
Church.





And this is me in front of the town hall.



Last but not least I saw the smallest house in Eisenach. It has a
width of only 2,05m and is about 250 years old. It is the smallest
half timbered house in Germany that people still live in!



On our way back to the car we came across this fellow.

It is tooooo hot here so we went to Altenberger Lake to cool down a little.

We visted the farm fair in the neighbouring village today.
There was an exhibition of animals and farm vehicles.













Ah, well, these piglets looked so cute but I have to admit that suckling pig for lunch was also good....



And there were some other stuffed animals.



We also visited the biogas plant which belongs to the farm.

This Sunday we visited the little zoopark in Gotha.

It is only three more days at school before summer holidays. So my host took us to her school to show us the great school grounds.







Then we went to the school library and I helped my host to list the new books on the system.







Puh, what a huge pile to work on....
