Hey I'm Herb!

I'm a giant microbe and my home town is a small city near to Vienna, called Mistelbach.

The last week my dad took me to work with him and I saw many interesting things. Also photos were taken to give you some impressions of the Vienna University of Technology, the working place of my parents.

Now it would be great to become a long distance traveller and see the world with all the beautiful places in it.

Today I started my journey. I will miss my family but I'm confident that it will be a beautiful time!

For some nice memories I made some photos of my home town and my best friends.

I savely arrived in Lichtenfels today!
My trip was very comfortable, I felt asleep and in the next moment my envelope was opened and I arrived 

I was welcomed very friendly by a teeny-weeny monkey and a lot of other TVs. Lifemission 3 fullfilled at my first day!

I showed them my diary. I hope, they will help me to write down my memories. I have a problem with writing  No arms

Hello, it´s me again!

I made my first update in my diary with the help of Waffels.

He comes from Austria, too. We talked about our homecountry and made plans what we can do the next days. Very exciting!

Toady there was snow in Germany, too!

We looked from the balkony down in the garden. Everything white!

Hostmum took the little sleigh into the garden and all TVs were allowed to take a ride.

Brrrrrrr, cold! Thank god she had a nice cape for me. Now I am not longer cold!

Hey, my family at home!

Today it was veryvery cold! -17 centigrade! But because of the blue sky we made a short walk to the river Main. The meadows were full of water and now there is a nice skating lane! I was wonderful, i didn´t fall 


We took photos of nice winter impressions. The last photo shows the river. Usualls it is a river, now it´s only ice.

I hope, the spring comes soon!

Hey, my dear family at home!

Today hostmum said that you arranged a new trip for me! Thank you, Mummy!

We looked on a world map. wooooooooooow, I will travel across the ocean! Wavy Gravy showed me where I will go exactly.

Hostmum said I will meet Konrad there. He is the TV of my hostdad. I am very keen on to meet him in person!

Now I look forward to some last nice days is Lichtenfels!

Hey, my family!

Today we made a trip to Bamberg. It is a very old city with an nice historic center which is even world heritage.

We visited the most famous fountain in Bamberg, the "Gabelmo". It has a sculpture of neptune ontop.
Then we walked to a bridge where you can see little Venice, a few old houses at the river Regnitz. The next building is the old townhall, is was built in the middle of the river, how crazy

The last station was the gothic cathedral with its four towers. What a impressin building!

This was a very interesting day!

Hey, my dear family!

Tomorrow is a big day for me! I will leave Lichtenfels and will go west across the ocean! 
Today Wolley helped me to write in my diary. Wolley is very clever, he lived in a school for a long time.
Because I will take off tomorrow in the morning I said Goodbye to all new friends here. I am a little bit sad but excited, too!
I will meet my hostdads TV Konrad in the USA!
The next update I make is from america, I hardly can´t believe it!

Hello!
I have arrived safe and sound here at my new Host's house. Hooray!

The kitty likes the tape on the mailing box! 


There were two new friends waiting for me when I finally got out of the package. I was very happy to meet Konrad and Alien Princes.


Brrr! Look at all the snow outside! This is my Host's backyard. She said we can all take a walk together later. There is a park preserve not far from here that is beautiful; I would like to see it!


My Host is in the middle of packing to move to her first apartment. How exciting! We all pitched in to help clean up this messy room.

Hello!
Yesterday, we took a trip to my Host Mum's place of work. We stopped to eat in the breakroom.


They were having a birthday celebration for some co-workers. How nice!
"Herb, did you eat all that cake?"
" ....no, it wasn't me! Hee hee hee.....".


Here we see the hallway.


We also took a little walk outside. It was windy, but not too bad.




We have a blizzard warning in effect until the end of tomorrow. Hopefully we'll get more snow. Then we can go skiing!

Look at the Winter Wonderland we woke up to this morning! We were so surprised! We just had to go outside and play in it.





I found a nice vantage point from this tree. It's all calm and still-- I like how peaceful it is.




My host says we are expected to get significantly more snowfall over the next few days as well. That's a lot! Hopefully we can make a snowman. Bye for now.

Hello! It's me, Herb.

Yesterday, we helped move my host into her very first apartment. Hooray! It was a lot of work, but I helped as much as I could. These are the last ones we brought inside:


It's quite nice inside. I will take more pictures of it later.


It was such a nice day outside, that we had to go out and play!

We said goodbye to a dear friend today. We will all miss you, Konrad! Have fun with your new host!
