By: Dr.Kröbner
Hello Mummy,
On 1. May we made a trip to Bad Pyrmont,
we were in the
historic park with palm trees, which is considered one of the most beautiful parks in Europe and in 2005 by Briggs & Stratton was honored as "the most beautiful park in Germany".
Mummy what do you think where I am? that does not look like Lower Saxony, that looks like Spain or Italy, but its Bad Pyrmont
In the pond were quite a lot of carp, but unfortunately I could not catch
There are so many different tulips
a lovely brigde..
and tulips...
There was the Festival of Fine Things.....
The unique ambience of the award-winning gardens of Bad Pyrmont present over 100 exhibitors with beautiful and useful ideas for home, garden, lifestyle and culture,
each according to his taste, so I like the lighthouse...
On the way back we found this figure
and this funny chair....
that was a nice trip
bye for now
love you Mommy
kisses your Tiffy

Fritzlar, Germany - 18th May 2012
By: Dr.Kröbner
Hello Mummy,
I had a great day in Fritzlar, hostmum Andrea was born there
and goes there regularly, good for me .....
In the background you can see the cathedral
I want to tell you something about the Cathedral..
The Cathedral of Fritzlar measures 43 meters (from the basement to the top). He continues to shape the cityscape of the small town in the Schwalm-Eder-Kreis (formerly Circle Fritzlar-Homberg). The three-aisled basilica in Fritzlar is considered one of the most beautiful Romanesque-Gothic churches in Hesse.
built and rebuilt several times, combines the Cathedral of St. Peter Roman and Gothic styles. In the oldest part of the Fritzlarer Domes are the crypts, which can also be viewed as the Cathedral, which, amongst other things, "Henry Cross" and some of the oldest monstrances the German-speaking.
Here you see the "Grey Tower", and a nice seagull
The 37 meter high tower was mentioned in 1274 for the first time
The"Grey Tower" is one of the highest municipal watchtower still standing in Germany.
That's part of the old city wall and a beautiful view...
an informationboard
The Town Hall in Fritzlar originated in Roman times (also called "bailiwick") and was first mentioned in documents in 1109,
very old......
The town hall is decorated with a stone relief from the 1441 Holy St. Martin, the patron saint of Fritzlar.
a nice little street
hostmum found this informationboard and I try "to hit the road"
a nice view to the Ursuline Convent
from the "Malerwinkel", sorry no english word
next stop Bad Wildungen..sorry no pictures from the town....but
we have visited Dr.Kröbners girlfriend and spent a pleasant evening...
next day: hostmum must play with her Sambagroup in Kassel on the river Fulda.......
I was allowed to pose with "Willy"
this nice building is The Orangerie is a Orangery in Kassel. It was built under Landgrave Charles between 1703 and 1711. Since then, it forms the northern corner of the Karlsaue park. Today it is used as an astronomy and physical cabinet.
that was a nice trip..
bye, bye
love from Tiffy
