Angelbachtal, Germany - 12th August 2012

By: Yosemite

Hello Mummy!

As I promised yesterday I will show you the pics of our trip:

On our way to the south we passed the "Fürstenlager", a park with big trees and pretty flowers.

First station was the technical museum in SInsheim, where very pretty oldtimers are exposed. Me (and hostmum) liked the big US cars most  ;)
Outside are even planes exhibited. Even a Concorde!

In the afternoon we went to Angelbachtal. There was a medieval market! We watched the boothes and me and Schäfli looked at the booth with the wool. A friendly man helped me to see everything.

Then a crazy thin happened! Suddenly two women came around with big whispering bags. We wondered who this will be! It was Zandy and fam-united! They brought their TVs and so we had a coming together! I met my brother Chalon and the famous TV-TV, Cassiopeia and a lot of other TVs! We had to change so much experiences!  B)

Then we went across the market. We watched a monk making a chained armour.

At the next booth I was confused. A label said: "Sheep fur warms in winter and cooles in summer." Correct, but why are humans interested in it????? :stare:

We hurried to the knights tournament! What a exciting contest!

That was our weekend!

Looooooove you, Peaches

Staffelberg near Lichtenfels, Germany - 26th August 2012

By: Yosemite

Hello Mummy!

Guess what? We made a hiking trip to the Staffelberg near Lichtenfels. We walked all the way on foot (in hostmum´s backpack )
But when we reached at the rocks we wanted to go in our own. It was very easy to climb for me, rocks are my terrain  :D

Finally we reached the top. At first we posed for a picture and then we enjoyed a snack in the tavern on top of the mountain.

I had a salted meat and a ice cup for dessert  :p

What a great day!

Hey Mummy!

Today Twixx, one of Hostmum´s TVs came back! He arrived in a spectacular way. We didn´t exactly knew what´s going on when we heard a helicopter above our heads. It landed right between us. We thought about some aliens, but then Twixx came out!
We watched together the pictures of his trips and he told us everything about his adventures. Brave little guy!

Tomorrow he will continue his journey, he will go to Scotland with
Ravyna  We met her and her TV Niiskuneiti and wished them a save trip!

Love you, Mummy!

Garden, Lichtenfels, Germany - 15th September 2012

By: Yosemite

HEy Mummy!

Today we enjoyed one of the last summer days. We decided to make a picknick in the garden. I helped to prepare yummie sandwiches. At first I made butter on the slices. Then bacon, cucumber and cheese. Hostmum helped to cut it in pieces and then I wrapped each sandwich in foil. we packed a big picknick basket with yummie and needful things and went down to the garden. Really a great day!

Hope it wasn´t the last summer day this year!

Love you, Peaches

Hello Mummy!

Today hostmum asked us if we would help her to paint the kitchen. Of course we said yes, this could be a lot of fun!

Fimbo started to paint, he was very excited about this colour, he likes everything of extravagant colour  ;)

But I also painted a big part of the wall and think it looks like very nice!
Will we have some green walls at home, too? It´s very relaxing!

Lichtenfels, Bavaria, Germany - 19th October 2012

By: Yosemite

Hello Mummy!

Today we said goodbye to Fimbo_Fimble
He is on his way back to his Mum.

When we headed back from the postoffice hostmum said we will stop at the new shopping mall. There were a lot of attractions but I decíded to take a ride on a historic merry-go-round.

The shop we liked most was the deco store. There we bought a lot of pretty stuff. Just take a look!  A funny yoga frog, some christmas tree balls and a lot of dishes in TV size. I think we´ll have a TV dinner soon :p

Many greetings, Peaches

Bayreuth, Germany - 26th October 2012

By: Yosemite

Hello Mummy!

We made a shopping trip to Bayreuth! Unfortunately the weather was soooo bad, so we only did some indoor entertainment.
Look, a pink convertible! I think you will like this  ;) I was the driver and brought us to a soccer game. We fighted hard, but Cheerio and Soeren had more luck, so they won.

But my time came at the "nine-men´s-morris" in German Mühle...

Jethro and me fighted and I built the first line of three  :p

Yours, Peaches

Lichtenfels, Bavaria, Germany - 6th November 2012

By: Yosemite

Hey Mummy, Peaches speaking!
Today we made a baking session  ;) Hostmum showed us a magazine with a lot of yummie recipes. We decided to make lemon cookies!
We needed a lot of ingredients. Flour, sugar, baking soda, an egg and butter. I cut the butter in small pieces. Hostmum kneaded the ingredients until it was a smooth ball.
After the dough cooled for one hour we put jelly and marzipane on it. Now it looks like a sweet pizza  :stare:

But this are the very best cookies I´ve ever had!

Love you, Peaches

Hello Mummy!

Hostdad is a very good cook, and his most famous meal are Tortellini with cream sauce, bacon and peas.
We were not allowed to help today, we were invited for meal!
But we sneaked a peek in the pots.

Uuuuuuuuuuuuhhhh, looks yummie!

We took place on the table and enjoyed our Tortellinis. Mummy, I would like to share them with you, but we ate it all :p

But if you want, I can cook for you, when I am back. I promise!

Yours, Peaches

Kitchen, Lichtenfels, Germany - 6th December 2012

By: Yosemite

Hey Mummy!

Today we were allowed to help in the kitchen. Hostmum made yummie christmas cookies!

We mixed flour, sugar, butter and eggs in a bowl. Then hostmum kneaded the dough until it got a hard consistence. I cut it into small pieces and hostmum made little croissants. We watched them getting brown in the oven  ;)

All together we made 4 types of cookies. And guess what? Hostmum allowed me to make a parcel for you!

Wait for the postman, Mummy  :p

Snow, snow, everywhere snow!

The whole day it snowed! We waited patiently at home until hostmum came home and then we asked her if we could go out. And she said yes!

We took three old sleighs and went down to the garden. We cued our sleighs up in an line and hostmum wanted to pull us through the garden. But when we saw the perfect sleigh run we had a better idea!

We built three teams: Team jo-mlp/mcDaniels on sleigh number 1, me together with Jethro on sleigh number 2, and Team Noisy on sleigh number 3. What a challenge!
Baerle made a false start, but it was to late to stop the sleighs. We speeded downhill.
yeah, leading position! But then Team 1 countered... no problem, I am better!
But then Team 2 overtook us! We gave everything and gained the lead again!
Unfortunately Baerle´s team had the better finish and won the race. It must have been their bigger mass!!!

Now we are all together drying in the heater

Lichtenfels, Bavaria, Germany - 24th December 2012

By: Yosemite

Dear Mummy, tonight something crazy was going on in the living room. During the night there grew a tree!!!
But hostmum explained that this is no unsual tree, it is our christmas tree!
And we are allowed to decorate it together with her!
So we choose the most nice christmas balls and hang it on the branches.
After we finished we took a short break. And in this moment I got a feeling of holyness... I can´t explain it... But just take a look at our pretty tree!

Mummy, I wish you a merry christmas!

Garden, Lichtenfels, Germany - 1st January 2013

By: Yosemite

Happy new year, dear Mummy!

We celebrated the New years eve in the garden. Hostdad made a big campfire and hang a pot over it. There he roasted meat and vegetables for a goulash. The whole stuff had to cook 3 hours! During this time we sat together at the fire and talked about the last year and what the new will bring.

Yours, Peaches
