Hello, my dear Mummy!
Today Twixx, one of Hostmum´s TVs came back! He arrived in a spectacular way. We didn´t exactly knew what´s going on when we heard a helicopter above our heads. It landed right between us. We thought about some aliens, but then Twixx came out!
We watched together the pictures of his trips and he told us everything about his adventures. Brave little guy!
Tomorrow he will continue his journey, he will go to Scotland with
Ravyna
We met her and her guest Niiskuneiti and wished them all a save trip!
Yours, Jethro
*Whisper* He allowed me to take care of his helicopter until he is back...

Hello Mummy!
Today hostmum asked us if we wanted to help her to paint the kitchen. Of course we said yes. This could be a lot of fun!
But as always it starts with real hard work.
While Baerle masked the wall with adhesive tape I got entangled in the tape! I really had fear of death, but Baerle rescued my in a brave way.
After that horror Fimbo started to paint. He liked this colour expecially, I don´t know why
I painted a part of the wall, and I think I did a great job (for a little elephant )

Hello Mummy!
Today a new TV arrived. It is Soeren from Paderborn. He seems to be a funny guy. As he has arrived he introduces himself as "the new one who wants to sing"
This will be funny, I think
Love you, Jethro

Hey Mummy!
Today we said goodbye to Fimbo_Fimble He is on his way back home.
On our way back from the postoffice we visited the brad new shopping mall in Lichtenfels. There were a few nice attractions e.g. a historic merry-go-round. I took the chance for a ride
Loook, what a big ice cream! ohhhhhhhhh, it was made of plastic...
But hostmum bought a lot of interesting things: A funny yoga frog, a nice flower, some christmas tree balls and dishes in TV size. Maybe we´ll cook soon a dinner?
Yummieeeee, Jethro

Hey Mummy!
Today we made cookies! Hostmum needed a new recipe for her work, so we looked into a magazine with yummie candies. We decided to bake lemon cookies. We needed a lot of ingredients: flour, sugar, butter, an egg, baking soda and for the filling jelly and marzipane. Hostmum said, we had to weight everybody exactly. My weight is 47g But no, she said, we had to weight the ingredients exactly, my fault
After we had everything in the bowl, hostmum kneaded it until she had a smooth ball of dough. After the girls gut jelly and marzipane on it, it looked like a pizza But it wasn´t!
These are the most delicious cookies I´ve ever made myself!
Yours, Jethro

Hello Mummy!
Hostdad is a very good cook, and his most famous meal are Tortellini with cream sauce, bacon and peas.
We were not allowed to help today, we were invited for meal!
But we sneaked a peek in the pots.
Uuuuuuuuuuuuhhhh, looks yummie!
We took place on the table and enjoyed our Tortellinis. Mummy, I would like to share them with you, but we ate it all
But if you want, I can cook for you, when I am back. I promise!
Yours, Jethro

Hey Mummy! Today I did what a male elephant has to do! No, I didn´t father a son, I planted a tree!!!
Me and Huli Hutu helped hostdad to plant some trees. He seeded little sequoia seeds in spring and now it was time to plant each of them into a pot.
I assisted hostdad in planting the little trees. Imagine, the tree I planted could get one of the largest living thing in the world! We played hide and seek, but I think this will work better, when the tree is grown-up
At the end I watered the trees and wished them a good winter. They will spend the cold season in the garage.
Hostdad told us a lot about sequoias this afternoon. Very interesting!
Yours, Jethro

Dear Mummy, you know that I am a gourmet. Today me and the other TVs helped hostmum baking some christmas cookies. We collected the ingredients and put everything together.
Then I must have fallenin a deep sleep. After I woke up there were 4 types of cookies.
Hostmum promised us, that we can make a small parcel for you. So I took Joesy on my back and she and Lina packed a lot of cookies in a bag for you
Enjoy! Jethro

Snow, snow, everywhere snow!
The whole day it snowed! We waited patiently at home until hostmum came home and then we asked her if we could go out. And she said yes!
We took three old sleighs and went down to the garden. We cued our sleighs up in an line and hostmum wanted to pull us through the garden. But when we saw the perfect sleigh run we had a better idea!
We built three teams: Team jo-mlp/mcDaniels on sleigh number 1, me together with Peaches on sleigh number 2, and Team Noisy on sleigh number 3. What a challenge!
Baerle made a false start, but it was to late to stop the sleighs. We speeded downhill.
yeah, leading position! But then Team 1 countered... no problem, I am better!
But then Team 2 overtook us! I gave everything and gained the lead again!
Unfortunately Baerle´s team had the better finish and won the race. It must have been the bigger mass!!!
Now we are all together drying in the heater

Dear Mummy, tonight something crazy was going on in the living room. A tree has grown during the night! But then hostmum explained that it is christmas and this is our christmas tree! And we are allowed to help to decorate it.
I am a small but strong elephant and so I transported the balls on my back. I especially like the blue ones , because I think blue is the best colour at all...
When I rolled a ball to the tree I wondered... there are balls with a pretty blue elephant on it Cool!!!
Mummy, I wish you a happy Christmas!
Your Jethro

Happy new year, dear Mummy!
We celebrated the New years eve in the garden. Hostdad made a big campfire and hang a pot over it. There he roasted meat and vegetables for a goulash. The whole stuff had to cook 3 hours! During this time we sat together at the fire and talked about the last year and what the new will bring.
Yours, Jethro

Kulmbach, Germany - 10th February 2013
By: Yosemite
Dear Mummy,
today we were in Kulmbach in the famous Plassenburg. It is a very impressing castle! And it was built on a very impressing mountain! When we reached the top we were very happy to have no bikes with us. Downhill bikes are not allowed!!!
Inside we watched a model of the castle. There you can see how big it is!!!
Then we went to the museum with tin figurines. Wow, the first thing I saw was an pretty elephant!
But the exhibit I liked most was the diorama with a scenery of the Serengeti (even with elephants )
Yours, Jethro
