Hello!
I would like to tell you how I learned about the project toyvoyagers.com.
For a long time I lived at the dacha of Triss. I chased frogs and mosquitoes, look after the procedure. Triss once brought us to the dacha Sylvia and Viola. They told me how to travel around the world. I also wanted to travel. I want to see how people live in other countries.

In the evening I went to Moscow, that would be great to start your journey.

Hello Mom!
Today we walked to the Manege Square and Red Square. With the Manege Square overlooking the State Duma - the lower house of the Federal Assembly - Parliament of the Russian Federation.
At the Manege Square many fountains. One of them is in the form of a map of Russia and the clock moving. With the Manege Square, we went down to the Eternal Flame and the famous Tomb of the Unknown Soldier near the Kremlin walls.
At the Red Square was the construction of the cadet corps, which we have seen.

Tsaritsyno, Moscow, Russia - 19th July 2012

By: Trissa

Hello!
Today we were walking in a big company Tsaritsyno.
Tsaritsyno palace and park ensemble, covering an area of 100 hectares, is located on hilly terrain crossed by ravines, in place of the former estate of princes Kantemirov and inherited some of its features.  Tsaritsano is the most important monument of the so-called "Russian Gothic" (pseudo-) on the establishment of a royal residence for over 20 years experience in a series of two of the most famous architect of his era - Vasily Bazhenov and Matvei Kazakov. Tsaritsyno - the largest in Europe, the pseudo-Gothic building of the XVIII century, and only the palace complex, designed in this style.
I really liked the Palace and the Church ...

Moscow, Russia - 30th July 2012

By: Trissa

Hi all!
Today, I was near the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
Temple - the largest in the Russian Church. Designed for 10,000 people.
The original church was erected in memory of the Napoleonic invasion, "the preservation of the eternal memory of that unprecedented effort, loyalty and love for Faith and Fatherland, however in these hard times extolled the Russian people themselves, and to mark our gratitude to Divine Providence for saving Russia from threatening her to death "[1]. It was built by architect Konstantin Ton. Construction lasted nearly 44 years: the church was laid September 23, 1839, consecrated - May 26, 1883.
December 5, 1931 the church building was destroyed. Rebuilt in the same place in 1994-1997.

Now Temple has become particularly well known in connection with the case of the four girls who call themselves the punk band "Pussy Riot". February 21, they wore masks, and sang a song at the altar of political content. Now the court passes over them.

Moscow, Russia - 2nd August 2012

By: Trissa

Hello!
Today Triss showed one of the most interesting of the Moscow metro stations.
Station "Revolution Square" opened March 13, 1938. The station is the work of the architect Dushkin and has the status of the identified cultural heritage site. The name has the same name space (up to 1918 it bore the name of the Resurrection).
The decoration of the station used the black marble of the Armenian "davalu", combined with white, gray and golden marble of other breeds. The station hall is illuminated by two rows of round chandeliers-flat "plates".
Narrow passages between the base of the pylons are decorated in a steep semi-cylindrical arches, resting on low broad pedestals. On these pedestals 76 bronze sculptures depicting the Soviet people. All figures (except for figures of pioneers) in order to fit in a limited volume of the vaulted archway, depicted either embarked on his knee, or bending over, or sitting. In this regard, said that the statue represents the image of the Soviet people - "it's all or sitting, or kneeling"

It is a long, long journey.  It's really boring inside my travel box, and the ship is getting me seasick.  I am getting hungry too.  But I follow Triss's warning not to eat the candies.  Because they are for my new friends!!

I think finally I have arrived at somewhere?  I found out i am in a post office.  When will I get to see my new friends?

Hmmm I hear a lot of noises?

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18342.jpg

So nice to breath some fresh air!!  Hi my new friends!!  Thank you for letting me out!

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18343.jpg

Hey Triss your candies are very popular!  Are you proud that I did not eat any by myself?

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18344.jpg

My friends know I am very hungry.  Micky just arrived a few days before and she shares some cookie with me.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18341.jpg

Meet my new rodent friends!  Big Foot, Genevera and Micky.  I know I will have fun here.

Miami, Florida, United States - 22nd October 2012

By: tarepanda

Our host bought this by mistake last week when she shopped for some beets.  We did not know what it is, but we helped her figure out that it is a rutabaga.  We decide to make a soup out of it.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18348.jpg

First we cut it up into pieces.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18349.jpg

We also cut some potatoes and carrots.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18352.jpg

We brown some onion in the pot.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18350.jpg

When it's ready we put the root vegetables in as well.  We throw in some herbs, bay leaves and pepper and some water.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18356.jpg

Now it's time to put everything in the blender.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18359.jpg

We put the puree back into the pot, add a bit of wine, salt and pepper to taste.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18362.jpg

Let's a final touch, of scallion and shredded asiago.  Doesn't it look good?  It's very delicious!

Tampa, Florida, United States - 27th October 2012

By: tarepanda

Today we are going to Tampa, which is on the west coast of Florida, to visit our host's friend.  We get onto the turnpike.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18391.jpg

See the bridge up there?  It's the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18397.jpg

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18433.jpg

Look, the water in the gulf is so beautiful!

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18435.jpg

You can see the old bridge.  Part of it is still around and used as a  fishing pier.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18440.jpg

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18408.jpg

When we arrive... we are feeling a bit hungry.  I wonder what we are having for lunch?

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18421.jpg

It's a Korean restaurant.  The decor looks very interesting.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18412.jpg

We first enjoy some hot tea.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18409.jpg

Or maybe we should order some Korean wine?  It is similar to Japanese sake.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18414.jpg

At a Korean meal, there are many small dishes called banchan.  Kimchee is the most famous type, but there are others made with steamed, marinated or stir-fried vegetables, anchovies and more.  Some are spicy but some are not.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18416.jpg

We have some soup and a spicy noodle.  It's so delicious!

Miami, Florida, United States - 30th October 2012

By: tarepanda

Today we come baked pork chop rice at home.

First we have to marinate the pork chops.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18465_zps55d2d7ac.jpg

Next, we chop up the tomatoes and onions.  It's not easy work!

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18470_zps2a53acea.jpg

We prepare the rice by stir frying it, adding a little egg and sausage.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18474_zps36bf046c.jpg

We grease the bottom of a pan.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18477_zps1ce8ba52.jpg

Then put the rice in it.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18481_zpsbd561937.jpg

Now we fry the pork chop.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18484_zps5ce9614d.jpg

We lay them nicely on top of the rice.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18489_zps869b49c2.jpg

Next up is the tomato and onion!

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18492_zps6af7c93f.jpg

We add tomato paste, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and sugar to make the sauce.  Cook till it's thick and bubbly.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18502_zpsafdef208.jpg

Once we pour the sauce on top of the pork chop and rice, it's ready to go into the oven!

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18507_zps0000202d.jpg

We sip a glass of wine while we wait for the dish to cook.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18510_zps021a53f5.jpg

Is it ready?  Is it ready?  We keep checking the oven.

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18512_zps6033c053.jpg

Finally, it is!  Now we can enjoy a wonderful dinner!

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u314/azuki726/toy%20voyagers/2012/SDC18516_zps7d7471db.jpg
