Today was my first journey and I visited the beautifull city Straßbourg in France, where I could dander through the historic center.
Here I am in front of the huge cathedral of Straßbourg.

My next Station was the market in the historic center of Freiburg

Herbert went to see the Tower bridge in London at night

Did some more sightseeing around London.. Picadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, travelled around with the underground and met some strange hairy monster friend...

Hey! Glad to leave London and drove for a while on the motorways until I reached Bristol!
I met a lucky bunch of friends and went shopping in Broadmead and Cabot Circus.
Although, some parts of the city are a bit dodgy the graffities are just awesome...
With one of my little friends, I relaxed in the city and let the sun tan my fury belly.
What would be a good weather without BBQ? I went shopping and tried the tescos self-check out .. after the BBQ off to the pub! Nice place. Want to come again!

Time to enjoy the nightlife in the Icebar, quite an amazing place!

The grand-final of my Swedish trip was in Kiruna, way above the Polar Circle.
And if you are not impressed by the first picture... well, that's how the sky looks like at 00.30, Courtesy of the midnight sun!
I enjoyed ice sculptures and traditional Sami food (yummm, reindeer ), helped mounting a telescope gondola that will fly on a balloon and visited one of the largest iron mines in europe.
Gotta come back here in winter, though, 'cause I'd like to see the northern lights...

Again, only a picture that was taken from the window in the hotel. This shows the river flowing through Guangzhou in South China.

This trip was quite short and Herbert got to see only the view out the hotel room. But it was worth it!

Herbert went for a short trip to the centre of Europe: Brussels. Unexpectedly he found himself in a park, and caught a bit of sunshine . Next time he somehow must get to see more of this place, and have a good Belgian beer.
