Hi!

A new toy arrived today here. He is Rico the Tiger from Germany.

We had a welcome party, we ate all chocolate candies what Rico brought from Germany. They were so yummy!  :p

Jyväskylä, Finland - 27th July 2012

By: mmm105

Hello!

Today Kurnau wanted to show us something.
He said the place where we will go is great. He was so mysterious...
So, we went outside and started to walk.

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-gkd5xtoMXPQ/UBVSTO249cI/AAAAAAAAQKs/dOvwsnK090U/s640/117.JPG

Kurnau said this place is called Harju. It's like a small hill just next to city center. And there's such a great and long stairs there.

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-amQJey3kRzU/UBVRTwQbY0I/AAAAAAAAQBE/0u3e3nMot7A/s512/027.JPG

We all climbed up these long stairs.

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-acn1ljcGeZ4/UBQ0Vm6LCvI/AAAAAAAAP1I/xRm3qFcwiCk/s512/031.JPG

Up there is the building called Vesilinna.
We were so exited, because Kurnau said we are going to up in this high tower to see great views!

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-G8bI9AnDAi8/UBVRYmnzz-I/AAAAAAAAQBs/14qV7uVZ0Yo/s512/034.JPG

There's the city center. And the lake in the picture is named Jyväsjärvi.
Look, the lake is so close to city center!!!
And by the way, did you know that there's about 188 000 lakes in total in Finland? Lots of lakes, isn't it? So cool!  B)

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-MX3JqqwolYk/UBVRlQOXcDI/AAAAAAAAQDU/f4iSguHhfUM/s640/054.JPG

There's the sport stadium of Harju.

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-AYrCFTSHwQQ/UBVRibCvE3I/AAAAAAAAQC0/x1CqWwNPbwg/s640/048.JPG

And there's the view to the direction where hostmom is living.
She is living just next to the lake. :)

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-lfbpFGTfA6s/UBVUXiBCm1I/AAAAAAAAQRU/fTJEO3yQ11w/s640/060.JPG

On the downstairs of the building Vesilinna, there's the Natural History Museum (Keski-Suomen luontomuseo). We visited there.

There's hirvi (a moose). It's the biggest animal living in Finland.

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-rSlHsJnkjRI/UBVR4WUZqYI/AAAAAAAAQGQ/0FQ7LpkeCFw/s640/076.JPG

There's joutsen (a swan). It's the national bird of Finland.

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_Mt4hAIcZmE/UBVUYomLmUI/AAAAAAAAQRk/7JRuIY8w6KM/s640/075.JPG

And there's susi (a wolf).

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-WkscScAMvBQ/UBVSQe3rFqI/AAAAAAAAQKM/CYsAnV-ihTU/s640/113.JPG

There were showing also some interesting informations about stone materials and Finnish nature.

Jyväskylä, Finland - 28th July 2012

By: mmm105

Hei! Hello!

We enjoyed the sunshine today.  B)

We went to see the lake just next to hostmom's home. We think she is so lucky to live in this beautiful surroundings: lots of trees and a lake just next to her home.

It's so Finnish thing: there's so much forests and lakes in nature of Finland.

Jyväskylä, Finland - 30th July 2012

By: mmm105

Hei! Hello!

It's time to continue our honeymoon, and go to see new places in new country. We will travel to Japan!

Today we searched some information about Japan from Internet, and we found many beautiful pictures and interesting things. We both believe our journey there will be great. :)
We also looked the map of the world, and we noticed it's a long way to travel between Finland and Japan. It's good that we have each other, so don't have to travel alone.

Kurnau said goodbye to us. And then all others came to say it, too. All have been so nice to us, that we propably are going to miss them all. Finland was a nice place to visit.

But we are not only ones to leave here. There's three other ToyVoyagers saying goodbye, too. (Niiskuneiti, Druri and TobiHH will all travel to Germany.)

We are looking forward to see Japan! :)

Love,
Honeymooners
