I inspected the progress on host mom's latest project!

One of host mom's daughters is taking a photography class for her after school program and had an assignment to look for patterns. On Saturday, after Sabbath school and while waiting for potluck, we helped her look for patterns!

Host mom took us down to see the Neosho River today. She was amazed that even after all the rain we have had, it is still incredibly low!

Host mom finished her project today- a dress for her oldest daughter!

Host mom got her new full spectrum camera in this week, so we decided to take it somewhere interesting to try it out. We visited the Galemore Cemetery, and host mom took pictures with both full spectrum and her regular camera.

"No, Mr. Munchy, don't eat that!" Mr. Munchy  inspected the cranes that host mom's oldest daughter is making and declared them delicious. Host mom's daughter says she wants to make 1,000 cranes so she can make a wish.

Host mom is finishing up another costume... she calls this one "Little Red Fighting Good"!

Today was host mom's birthday!

We were supposed to go to the high school football game today, but lightning, thunder, and torrential rain meant it got postponed. We took shelter in a nearby recreation building and watched the middle school and high school bands at marching practice!

A delicious vegetarian Sabbath supper at the SDA church!

The stormy skies had an amazing yellow shade that we never could quite catch in a picture, but host mom did get these lovely pictures with her regular and full spectrum cameras.

Mr. Munchy is traveling again! Bon Voyage!

I have arrived safe and sound in Minnesota!

Whew! It was a long trip, but I was welcomed by ten other toys staying here with my new host mom. Hello, new friends~!

We decided to make breakfast for dinner== Pancakes!!!!!



Okuma and I are great helpers.

Not a fancy dinner party, but nice just the same.

We enjoyed the last days of Autumn today. I love the colorful leaves!



Danko and I rolled around for awhile making leaf angels.



Snow is coming soon-- we can feel it! It was good to get out in the sunshine today.

Can you guess where we are? Just a normal park? WRONG!



We are at Minnehaha Park-- we are going to see the falls, and walk the trails, and even FISH. YAY~!

Danko and I are the only TVs on this trip: lucky us! 




Not too  many people outside today: too chilly I guess.

This is Minnehaha Creek-- it flows from the Falls and winds its way to the Mississippi River.





We take a break to eat some snacks and rest awhile. Whew!







We made it to the end! Here's the Mighty Mississippi River~!





Alright! Time for fishing. ..... err, host mom? Can you teach me?





It's really quiet over here, no people.... and not as pretty as the trails.



Look at meeeee! I jumped over to this big rock. Hahaha! I'm IN the river.





Don't worry, I'm completely safe.



Let's rest up a bit before trekking back. The water is so peaceful.
