Hi Mom, I arrived all the way over in Australia,  safe and still in one piece!
While I was waiting to be picked up from the Post Office I decided to have a stretch and look around but only when I
heard it was all clear.















But I soon realised I wasn't alone. I had a quick chat to some strange looking locals.



They only had eyes for each other so I went back to looking






I even changed my money over to Australian Dollars



It seems so quiet here compared to New York!
It is getting daylight now so I had better get back into my envelope and await my new host.

I can smell the fresh fresh air and ocean
The weather has been a bit grey but I checked out what I might find in the bay

I had to stop again to build a sandcastle,



Then it was time for more walking!.

Finally we could see the longest wooden Jetty  in the southern hemisphere
better.


















I couldnt walk nearly 4kms out there and back today, so I hid for awhile.

Hello, We have been hiding out at my host's place with the sniffles for a few days but when the sun came out a bit we set off and checked out the areas surrounding the town.On our fist stop not 1 minute out of town we spotted a kangaroo!





   












   












   








After our little adventure, I retreated back to my warm room

Takamatsu city faces the Seto Inland Sea which contains more than 2000 islands.

Without a doubt, Chinese food is one of the most popular international cuisines in the world. Here in Japan, there are many Chinese restaurants and we can eat good lunch in a reasonable price.

I'm standing on the top of the mountain between 2 cities, Takamatsu and Sakaide. It's an amazing view of the Seto Inland Sea. Can you see the Seto Ohashi Bridge across the sea?
In mountain I saw a very strange statue of Ushi-Oni. It is a creature which appears in the folklore of Japan.

We drove to the neighbor town Aji. This old photo studio was used a location in the movie. People in love visit here as a "holy" place
 

Socrates in Love (Crying Out Love, In the Center of the World)

This is Ritsurin Garden, a typical Japanese garden. It is located in the center of the city, among the modern buildings.
For 228 years long since 1642, the Matsudaira family, the Federal Lord of Takamatsu owned and maintained the garden. Today the garden is open to public.

Shodo-shima - Shodo Island
Shodo-shima is located north of Takamatsu, the capital city of Kagawa prefecture. The ferry boat took us here. It was about an hour trip from Takamatsu port.
Now we stand on the highest place in the island. This area is called Kankakei, if it's November we can see the beautiful autumn color.
On the way to the rest house from the peak of the mountain, we came across a group of wild Japanese monkeys!!!
I was surprised  

Matcha - fine powder green tea
Matcha is served in the Japanese Tea ceremony. It is a Japanese cultural activity and the art of its performance is serious and formal
I just want to try and enjoy Matcha in a relaxed manner before I leave Japan.
Don't worry I can!

Hello home
After a really short trip I arrived safely in Switzerland. Since it was a bit late, I got to know the other TV's today.



They are all very nice. To embrace I am a bit large. They have tried it anyway.





It tickled my chest. Soon we will make a trip. I am curious.
