Today we went to the Trischendamm again, it was low tide. Konsta, Joesy and 3*Euro were totally out of their mind, because they thought somebody had stolen the water! I calmed them down by telling them about the tides. And I said low tide is the best time for searching for shells. So we did and look, what we found:

Today it was our last day at the North Sea. So we went to a café for having a goodbye-teatime. While hostmum and hostdad were drinking their tea we four explored the café and found a nice old ship and a lighthouse.
And outside we sat in a wicker beach chair with a hood...very comfortable.
Goodbye, North Sea!

Yesterday we went for a farewell walk, because Konsta, Joesy and 3*Euro will travel to their next hosts...
It was a very nice autumn day, and the three said goodbye to the surroundings of Neuenbeken accompanied by sunshine and coloured trees...
And tomorrow Joesy and 3*Euro will make their things up into a parcel and then we have to say goodbye...
Best wishes, yours Knirrie

Dear mummy,
at the moment there's an autumn fair in Paderborn and so hostmum, Konsta and me drove to Paderborn city for visiting it.
First we ate a chocolate banana, very yummy! And then we drove in a Ferris wheel again, Konsta was totally out of his mind! We had a fantastic visibility, but it was very cold!
For warming ourselves up we went into a comfortable café, a friend of hostmum had opened one week ago.
All he best, mum, yours Knirrie

Dear mum,
today evening Konsta and me have started to bake a buckwheat bread. First we collected the ingredients and then we've got going: weighing out the buckwheat - adding amaranth - adding sesam - adding salt - measuring mineral water and filling it into the bowl - and at last mixing all these things...heavy labour! And now the dough has to 'rest' until tomorrow...very good idea! Good night, dough, see you tomorrow

Good morning, dough, now we'll carry on: adding kernels of sunflowers - adding baking powder - mixing - filling the dough into a baking tin - putting the baking tin into the oven - heating up the oven....and then waiting...and waiting...
And ready!!!

Hi mum,
hostmum has got a new own TV, Lille who wants to go in search of her brother Frederik who seems to got lost on journey. But before starting her journey she asked Konsta and me to tell her about our experiences of travelling. So we went for a walk talking about our journeys.
And look, mum, we have the same noses, but only the other way around
Best wishes, yours Knirrie

Hi mum,
a few days ago Konsta, Lille and me created an Advent calendar for hostdad: we packed 24 surprises into 24 small parcels, numbered them and then we climbed up the Advent branch and fixed the parcels. From December 1st until December 24th hostdad can open one of it every morning!
And we decorated the Advent wreath or rather hostmum's Advent plate with four candles, fir trigs, nuts, cinnamon and so on. Now we can light one more candle every Sunday...and then it's Christmas!
I wish you a nice Advent, mummy, with many yummy cakes,
yours Knirrie

Imagine, mum, St Nicholas was here!!!
The evening before December 6th Konsta, Lille and me put up a big boot. We put it outside hostmum's flat and wanted to wait and look what would happen, but hostmum said if we didn't come in, shut the door and go to bed St Nicholas wouldn't come. So we did...
The next morning we raced to the boot and IT WAS FILLED! Wow!
We climbed up and knocked it over and look! Yummie! Thank you, St Nicholas!!!

Hi, mum!
Today morning a small parcel arrived: Soeren's hostmum sent some cookies to us We immediately wanted to try some, but hostmum showed us Cookie, Soeren's girl and we had to promise to eat her on no account! Of course we won't!!!
Look, Soeren, your girl is all okay and has got a place of honour.
By the way, the other cookies were very yummy, many thanks to Yosemite!
Bye, mummy, yours Knirrie

Hi mum,
yesterday morning we looked out of the window and everything was white! We ran out immediately and started building a snowman. Look!
Back in the kitchen hostmum made us sitting on the radiator so that we didn't catch a cold...

Hi mum,
a few days ago Störte came home for a flying visit. We all hugged him being glad that he came home safely.
And today the postman brought another envelope with Yuma and a lot of chocolate in it! The rest of the evening we sat together in the Advent wreath, eating chocolate (don't worry, Soeren, we didn't eat your Cookie) and talking about TV-experiences.
Best wishes,
yours Knirrie
