Travelog for: Piggy

Hello! My name is Pig E. Pig but everyone calls me "Piggy." I'm a rather old pig but even so I still have a lot of life left in me. I was a gift to my owner back in December 1999. She says I'm her favorite but made me swear that I wouldn't tell the rest of the animals.

I have been traveling for a long time with Michele and her husband so she thought it was only fitting that I become a TV. I won't be traveling like most of the other TV's, I'm going to stay with Michele or Daryl. In the past I have traveled all over the USA going on business trips with Daryl. I love jumping on the beds in the hotel room and watching the television. Daryl will be traveling to Peru soon and I hope I can go with him. He wouldn't take me when he went to Trinidad and Tobago. I gave him the silent treatment when he returned. He's knows better than to tell me no!

I hope to meet lots of TV's coming to my house!

Finally I'm getting to travel again! I can't remember the last time I went on a business trip with Daryl (Michele's husband). We are leaving this morning for Lima, Peru. I'm nervous to be going so far from home, but Daryl keeps telling me about the beds that I can jump on. He also said that since Lima is below the equate it will be warm there. Great! I don't like the snow. I posed for last picture with the other TV's just in case they aren't here when I get back. I'll update again once I return home.

Finally I arrived home from Peru today! It was a very long and boring trip (for the most part). I'm so happy to be home! I have some pictures of my trip that I'll add soon. I need to get some sleep after the long plane ride.

This afternoon Honey Bear asked if I could meet him in the bedroom at 4pm for a special meeting! I was anxious to find out what Honey Bear was going to tell me. 4pm came and we met in the bedroom, I was surprised to find that Honey Bears friends were there too. I thought, this must be some announcement! 

I arrived to the bedroom and found a place to sit. Now I just had to wait for Honey Bear to tell us why we have all gathered here. Honey Bear came out and said;

"I want to thank everyone for coming to my meeting today. It's great to see everyone again. I'm sure you are all wondering why I've asked you to come here today. Well I'm having a teddy bear party in a few days and I would like to invite everyone to it."

The crowd erupted in cheer! WOW, a teddy bear party! What an honor to be invited. I told Honey Bear that I would be there (Umm....Hello I am his best friend!). I wonder how many of his other friends will be coming? He sure does have a lot of friends.  Mom asked everyone to squeeze in close so she could take a picture of us.

Today we attended Honey Bear's Teddy Bear party/picnic. We went to the picnic spot to find Honey Bear waiting us. He had the Teddy Bear Picnic song playing. We decided to play bobbing for gummy bears first. I didn't want to bob for gummy bears, so I just watched everyone else. I think this was the first time for a lot of them as they were acting crazy.  After everyone had taken a turn Honey Bear decided that he would dump the bowl of gummy bears on the table. Mom told him that it wasn't going to be a good idea but he did it anyhow. We all dove into the pile of gummy bears! It was fun....and no one was hurt!

After we cleaned up all the gummy bears, Honey Bear set up his tea set for us. Mom brought us some teddy bear shaped cookies and tea. Not everyone wanted tea so some had milk. We sat around talking and enjoying our snack. We told Honey Bear that maybe next time he can have his tea party in the park! He thought it was a good idea but said that it's too cold outside right now to do something like that.

Before we said our goodbyes and thank yous, we posed for one last picture.

Honey Bear and I wanted to take a bath today so the other TV's decided to watch. Michele told them not to get too close or they might fall in.

The other TV's were waiting for us when our bath was over. Honey Bear came out and he looked so happy to be clean.



I wasn't as happy as Honey Bear.



Honey Bear couldn't wait for the dryer. He says this is his favorite part because it makes his belly fluffy.
