Travelog for: Fusco

Paris, France - 20th April 2008

By: ChristinaB

It was just a short trip to Paris - but it was great to be back at home again. We had great fun there and saw sooo many new things and it was really nice to show my friends a bit of home.

Initially it was planned to go to Disneyland, too, but unfortunately we Toyvoyagers were a bit confused and sat in the wrong backpack on Sunday evening. The Dad of our host family had to go back to Vienna while the rest of the family still stayed there to visit Disneyland. But being in the wrong backpack, we went back to Vienna, too. What a pity, but maybe we'll have the chance to go there another time... I'm ready for travelling again after this short stop at home!

Vienna, Austria - 28th April 2008

Back in Vienna we had to buy some food again so we went to "Naschmarkt" which is the largest and most colourful market in the city.

Vienna, Austria - 28th April 2008

By: ChristinaB

I did alot fo sightseeing during my stay in Vienna. My host took me downtown and we saw the Cityhall with its large square where always some events are taking place. I discovered a big clock there counting down the days and hours until the European soccer championship takes place here in Vienna.

Just opposite the Cityhall there is the old imperial theatre and not far from it we saw the Austrian Parliament.

Prague (Praha), Czechia - 19th June 2008

By: ondrejliska

Hurray!
I arrived to Prague today. Robinson helped me get from the parcel.

Czechia is the fifth foreign country on my voyage. So I only need fifteen more to fulfil one of my life missions  ;)

Prague (Praha), Czechia - 22nd July 2008

By: ondrejliska

We (that means Robinson and me) decided to visit the belfry of St. Nicholas' Church.
http://neprilis.kvalitne.cz/fusco-prague-st_nicholas.jpg

The view was magnificent. Between my ears, you can see Old Town Hall. (Its English name is a bit confusing - it's not just a town hall which is old, but the town hall of the Old Town; maybe it should be rather called "Old Town Town Hall".) On my left side, you can see Lesser Town Bridge Towers - they belong to Charles Bridge. Who finds the Žižkov TV tower? (Clue: It's REALLY tall.)
http://neprilis.kvalitne.cz/fusco-prague-towers.jpg

This is St. Thomas' Church.
http://neprilis.kvalitne.cz/fusco_robinson-prague-st_thomas.jpg

We were also sunbathing for a while. The out-look tower on Petřín hill is very similar to the Eiffel Tower of Paris.
http://neprilis.kvalitne.cz/fusco_robinson-prague-petrin.jpg

Inside the belfry, we found this etching, which was originally created in 1740 - a few years before the belfry was build.

These gates are leading to the Red Square, but they were closed :(

There were some preparations for the Day of Moscow:

Walking to the other side of the Red Square we saw nice calm places just near Kremlin:

Toulouse, France - 17th October 2008

By: Mood

He began his sightseeing of the town by a walk along the Garonne:
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3232/2971495122_f0c59e474d.jpg?v=0
Tounis embankment...
And look at the balcony, this is Claude Nougaro (famous french singer) house (O toulououououououuuuuuuuuuse!!!)
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3042/2971495124_4e19cb7c2d.jpg?v=0

Nice sunset in front of the new bridge
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3218/2971495120_732d432933.jpg?v=0

During his walk around the town, Fusco also met strange people:
frightening ...
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3166/2971495112_5f8eb7e28c.jpg?v=0

... and friendly people
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3218/2970656837_733ffe6ef1.jpg?v=0

Then he made a detour through Albi
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3251/2971495104_abccf6be3f.jpg?v=0
where he stayed a few days...

St Orens , France - 30th October 2008

By: Mood

As he wasn't in France for a long time, Fusco was keen on watching the latest french TV news:
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3232/2970656841_a75372b7a9.jpg?v=0

a new french president
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3221/2970656847_e6a2a69fd6.jpg?v=0

the fabulous Picasso exhibition (where he'd love to go...)

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3224/2970656859_01e85309a9.jpg?v=0

next american presidential election

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3210/2970656861_b028a3d184.jpg?v=0

But it seems the biggest SCOOP was last Bernadette's capillary movements :

Before:
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2138/2970663657_68b49a783e.jpg?v=0

and then

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3218/2970663659_14c4655bcf.jpg?v=0

And in the end, french weather forecast:

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3065/2970656869_17418c160d.jpg?v=0

In fact, this is a special wink for Florazoom who is now far from France

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3058/2970663667_ecb43554f0.jpg?v=0

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3148/2970663665_7b0e71370c.jpg?v=0

Sometimes, Fusco dreams he wins jackpot, so, of course, he tried his luck to the new national lottery

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3239/2970673307_a9f8cbf5db.jpg?v=0

suspens!!!!
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3253/2970663677_99550096d7.jpg?v=0

But ..unfortunately ...
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3156/2970673311_38a9de5e3f.jpg?v=0

It seems Fusco won't be able to meet Flora for a long time!
