I live in Miami with a lady who is from Peru.
Today she goes to the beach with her friends, and I go along because I like beaches.
I am quietly enjoying some sunbathing when another lobster comes by. He is very handsome, yellow w some red strips (although I must say his face looks really red). And he has some nice muscles too, looks like he works out a lot.
"Er.... Hi.... " He said.
"Hi," I said. Well, I am pretty red but I think I am turning a shade redder still.
So we sit there for a while.
He finally works up to introduce himself. "My name is Scott, and I am from California."
Hmm, no wonder. Only lobsters in California go to gyms. I wonder what a Californian lobster is doing in Miami and he tells me he is a ToyVoyager. I have no idea what TV is so he tells me, and we talk and talk. And he keeps coming closer but funny thing, I don't mind...
There are a lot of jetskiers on the beach today.
Scott invites me to get on a jetski with him, but I think my mom warns me that good girls don't go riding with bikers. I wonder if that includes jetskis too.
On the beach you can see the skyline of Miami.
There are lots of palm trees on the beach.
"Ah they are back! It's lunch time!" Scott said.
I show Scott the peruvian chicken rice I made. It has chicken and bean in it.
And this is the famous Chupe Camerones, Peruvian shrimp soup that I and my mom made.
Scott finishes a bowl in no time. I guess he means it when he says it's delicious.
Next we have some watermelon. It's perfect for such a hot day!
Feeling very full and happy, we sit on the swing together. We talk more, and I feel so happy today.
The water is very nice and it is a lovely day out.

Today is a very sad day. I just get to know Scott and I think I am starting to like him, but today he tells me that he is leaving already! His mommy has made arrangement for him to travel on.
Scott asks me to come with him. I am almost tempted to, but truth is, after meeting Scott, besides thinking of him all day, my mind is filled with something else - how he tells me that there are hundreds of TVs travelling around the world.
I have lived in a kitchen all my life, and I have decided that I want to travel around too. I want to see Peru, which my previous owner talks a lot about. I want to meet other crustaceans. I want to become a TV.
So, I promise Scott that I will not forget him and I hope that we will meet again.
Scott gives me some flowers.
And a big ruby heart to show me how much he loves me.
We hug tightly. Part of me really wish I would just go with him and be together forever. But he understands and wishes me the courage to travel the world on my own. "One day," he says, "we will meet again and tell each other our great adventures. Till then, take care."

Well, we have some toys visiting, and today they persuade me to go out and join them to go to the comic store. Today is Free Comic Day and the comic store is giving away free comics. I decide it will be fun to go out.
We line up here so we can pick from the comics that are hanging on the wall.
They have a lot of posters and DVDs too.
Beware, Batman is here!
They have a lot of cute toys. We invite them to join us to travel.
Wow a lot of mushrooms!
Oh looks like we wander into Star Wars zone! I don't think they welcome us.
There are a lot of beautiful artbooks too.
Erm, the dogs here don't look too friendly either.
These Japanese snacks sure looks yummy! Lavender chocolate? I want to try that!
Oh my heart skips a beat. Did I spot another shrimp?
Turns out she is a krill. That is, a very very small shrimp. She and her friends are all part of the giant microbes gang. She introduces me to her friends, chicken pox, mad cow disease, algae, flu and more. They look friendly enough, but I am kind of wry about getting too close to them.
The store is also having an exhibition of self portraits by artists. They are all very beautiful.
