Hi Mum. Good news! ...after a loooong trip, I finally arrived in Switzerland!



...here I am!

I tried to make a snowman with the last snow... but I must say, that my snowman isn't looking like a snowman! I'm waiting for more snow!

Carneval! I enjoyed the fat Monday (Güdismontag) in Kerns. We had the children's parade. I really loved the Guggenmusik (Guggen music = brass and percussion carnival band)

Hi Mum - Happy Valentine! I miss you...

We enjoyed a sunny day in the mountains. It was fantastic. I went to  Melchsee-Frutt. Melchsee-Frutt is located at 1,920 metres above sea level and belongs to the municipality of Kerns in Canton Obwalden. The sunny high plateau has been a historic health resort (since 1865) and continues to enchant visitors with its stunning scenery, unspoilt nature and Alpine world with an idyllic mountain lake. It's fantastic for skiing or just walking.



This brand-new gondolas opened last December.

...just enjoy the wonderful mountains. ...the weather was perfect!

We enjoyed the day at thr river Engelberger-Aa. I really loved to jump on the stones.







The bridge in the background is still broken because of the high water in 2005. I hope that they will finally repair it...

Today we decorated our Easter-sapling. Nice isn't?

We visited the parents of my host family today. They live near a water powerstation.



This powerstation produces electricity from hydropower.

My hostmom is also a postcrosser. I helped to send some postcards today.

Hmmm, we enjoyed a traditional swiss cheese fondue. I really liked it!

Oh no, I can't belive it. It snowed... look at our easter decoration! I'm waiting for spring!

We enjoyed a weekend in Davos. My hostmother went skiing.



I just had a look around. Let's show what I discovered:

The Davos Congress Centre. The latest extension has made the Davos Congress Centre one of the alp’s most modern congress venues. Up to 5,000 attendees can come together and benefit from the ideal infrastructure. There are 34 high-tech rooms for 20 to 1,800 people. Every year, the WEF (The World Economic Forum is an independent international organization committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas) is in Davos.
