This afternoon we went to Port Arlington to get Sue's friend some mussels - they are sold on the wharf, the weather was not good, there was rain coming, but we saw a sailing ship at the end of the wharf so had a look


we could have gone onto the ship but it was very rough and Sue gets seasick very easily. Lucky for her it started raining so we headed back to the car.

Hi Mum,

Today we said goodbye to Charly - he is off to Spain for a holiday in the sun

and another travel bag arrived in the post

we couldn't hear anything

so we had a look inside!

and we found Fabler Bjorn. he has come to stay for a while.

Hi Mum,

Today we took Fabler Bjorn with us when we took Tupai for a walk in the park



it was cold and wet when we left home but the sun came out for a little while when we were walking in the park.

Hi Mum,

We had a frost over night and it was cold in the park this morning


back at home we found the dam was full of water again


and we found th ebirdbath was frozen over.

Hey Mum,

This evening we have been down in to Gisborne to have a look at the light show that is playing on the old Court House Building - we didn't stay long a sit was very cold and sadly there weren't many pictures!

We went to the park to walk the dog again this morning - another frosty morning

In the afternoon we went to scrapping class again and showed Fabler Bjorn the wood carvings in the park

Today we showed Fabler Bjorn some of the city

we found this interesting wool display in one of the shopping arcades.

Today a new TV arrived all the way from America!

On our way today we passed through Bendigo it is an old gold mining town, now a city

We are by the Murray River in Echuca - once we cross the river we are in new South Wales

We stopped to have a look at these signs on the side of the road - one about an earthquake that was here and the other about the Long Paddock - this is many miles of land between the road and the fence lines that was made available to farmers when they didn't have grass on their farms

Hi Mum,
We are here for the night and have had a little walk around - it is a bit late for photos but here is the Council Offices



and a memorial to the men who learned to fly the Tiger Moth plane during WW2 at a base near here
