Hi Mum
Today is ANZAC day when Australian and New Zealand people remember the men and women who went off to war - in the afternoon there is an Aussie rules football game between Essendon and Collingwood - two of the Melbourne teams. Many people go to the game, but lots also watch on the big screen at Federation Square



we also helped Charly6 look around the city today

Today we drove up the road to have a look at some of the autumn colours

lots of leaves have gone already - we are a little late!!


now we are driving home

We are at the Victoria Market this morning - you can buy nearly everything here

Interesting sculpture near the car park





Lunch stop now!!

After lunch we found a Christmas shop

then we did a chocolate tour in the city - this is the window of Haigh's chocolate shop


there was a chocolate shop in this arcade too

this is the Royal Arcade and there is a chocolate shop here too!

Mmmmmmmm.....what to choose??

Today we went to the golf course - it started off a nice day but then we had hail and then rain!!

Back at the beach for the weekend...we played a game of "How many TV's can sit on one post!"
First there was Mr Shaun and Charly6

then there was Elmar

then there was ME!!  Easy!! 


we sat on the beach for a while

and enjoyed the view

and even though this morning was cloudy I think it might turn out to be a blue and white day Mum!!

We had a trip into the city to show Elmar some places

here I am by the Yarra River, the Southbank complex is behind me

Today we went to a scrapbooking class and down the road was this park with unusual sculptures in it

Hi Mum,

Today we went to Ballan to a quilt shop and had a fun stitching day!


We went with Pumpkin the orangutan and met Peg and Dale, two chooks who have come from new South Wales for a visit


we got to share some chocolate!!! Yum!!

There was a frost this morning and our summer swimming pool was frozen on top!!

Today we had a walk to the supermarket, we found these toadstools in the camping ground

nearly an umbrella for me!! 

we found these ones growing on a log

and we made a sand castle!
