Granada, Spain - 8th September 2012

Hello World!
First of all, let me introduce myself.
I'm a cute little mouse princess from the Kingdom of Spain, specifically from the castled city of Granada.
Like any good princess I must know the World we live in and be a kind ambassador of my kingdom to many other cultures.
However, let it be clear, I am a princess but I am not spoiled, I can use public transportation, in fact, this is how my story begins.
Here I am with my friends Capote , Sir James and the current Voyager of the Week: Phinook
To begin my story I should of course first show you where I'm from, so here I am in the center of Granada:
and here's the main post office
here's a painter being inspired by the people in the streets of Granada:
and this is Granada's Town Hall
Granada is a city with a very rich mix of cultures, and here I am on a Moorish street in the city center.
in the centric Bib-Rambla square there's a pretty fountain with nice pink roses that nicely match my dress.
That brown tower in the background is the Cathedral's bell tower.
Back home we decided to make a cake, so here we are with all the ingredients ready:
And we helped to make the mix
It was nice to work together
But the cake was so yummy we forgot to wait before eating it to take a picture.
Anyways, I hope this will be the beginning of a great adventure around the World.
Here I come!,
Love,
Susy

Hello again world,
Today I joined my mentors to run some errands and on our way back we stopped in a few nice places. Here's the local Plaza de Toros (bullfighting ring).
There are many pretty buildings in Granada, here's a government building in the center.
Love,
Susy

Otívar, Spain - 15th September 2012
By: JunCTionS
Hi everyone!,
This weekend we went on a trip to the countryside, we spent the weekend on a countryhouse with some friends. The view was beautiful, here you can see the small town of Otívar:
Like many Andalucian towns all the houses are painted white and it looks very pretty.
We had a barbecue made in this rustic oven:
and we got to play in the well. We also threw in coins and made wishes.
Cheers,
Susy

Hello everyone,
Today we made a very special cake, it was extremely chocolaty, very colorful and pretty.
We wanted to make a nice pattern with M&M candies, so first we practiced on a plate, and after trying several ideas we went with one we found online:
Then, when we felt we were ready, we all helped put in the candies on a chocolate cake we had made earlier. Our hosts shared the cake with some friends and everybody was impressed by our work .
Buen Provecho!

Vienna, Austria - 11th February 2013

Next, Drescher, Mr. Curious and me decided to do a dress up dinner party
We went to a big closet and tried to find the perfect costumes. Of course the guys didn't try on more than one outfit- but I loved all these clothes so much, that I just couldn't settle on one outfit.
Just when I had decided on an outfit (rich lady of the 1980s), I saw how beautifully Mr. Curious's costume as a princess was, and decided that we should all have a princess costume - for a princess dinner party.
Yet even though it was so much fun, we went to bed early, because we were all so tired. I told Drescher and Mr. Curious about my journeys to Switzerland and my home in Spain, when we lay in bed. It was really comfy to ly in bed and talk about our travels.
I haven't seen much of Austria yet, but so far I liked it immensely
Love,
Susy

Vienna, Austria - 23rd February 2013
By: Mausbären
Dear family,
You know that I am not really used to snow- but lately there has been so much of it in Vienna. It is really freezing outside, and that's why host mum told me to borrow a warm jumper, a scarf and a hat, before we went outside today to enjoy the snow. (It was a pretty cool outfit, all in pink, I looked great in it - though I say it myself)
Well, so as I said we went for a walk in the snow- and it was simply fabulous- everything looks like it was enchanted. We explored a cave, climbed on trees, found a lovely looking bench, on which we took a rest- and then even built a snowman!!!
Yes a snowman. We split the work, and Mr. Curious built the biggest snowball, which is for the legs, Drescher built the second one which is for the belly, and I built the head. We then thought that we had finished it, and had a good look at it WE were shocked- it didn'T look like a snowman should.
But hostmum explained, that we had done it perfectly. We would simply have to add some finishing touches, like giving him a face and arms, and some clothes. After we had done so it really looked perfect
Back home, we were allowed to eat our lunch in bed. Which was really fine by me as I wanted to warm up anyway. It was so comfy!
Love, Susy

Vienna, Austria - 13th March 2013

Hello there!
Sorry I haven't made an update in quite a while, I just didn't find the time...
A few days ago Mr. Curious got his shirt, which was send to him by his owner. It turned out to be a football shirt, and it also turned out that Mr. Curious is a huge soccer fan, and was very curious about what a game with us would be like.
So he explained all the rules to us, and then we started building our goals. When we had found another player- Hearty, a bear, which was my team mate, we started playing- two against two
It was very exciting. I managed to score a goal against Drescher and Mr. Curious, but when I was protecting our goal, I could only stop one of the two baööy Drescher tried to get into our goal. I really enjoyed playing nevertheless
We only stopped playing when we realized that we had accidently played with two balls for a while. When stopped the score was 2:1 for Drescher and Mr. Curious - so I lost. But it was great to play football, and I made a new friend, Hearty.
Love, Susy

Vienna, Austria - 29th March 2013

Hello there!
As Easter approaches, I have already learned much about traditions in Austria- as for yesterday, it was Green Thursday, which is the day when Austrians traditionally paint their Easter Eggs. This tradition can be traced back to the Middle Ages
Well, beofe we started to paint the eggs, we of course wanted to get some hints on how to color them perfectly- so we spoke to the one and only Easterbunny himself - who gave us really good advice
We started by unpacking the eggs and then continued by awing- because we were quite taken aback by the large number - there were as many as 30!!!
Well, that was when we realized that we had much work to do, so we immediately put them into hot water to hard boil them. Then I read through the instructions of the color, and realized that we had a bit of spare time- that was when Mr. Curious and I decided to decorate ourselves- Easter Style
We did not have too long, before we had to get the color ready, and put the eggs in it (They were quite heavy to lift, but they looked so pretty I loved every minute of it) When they had been long enough in the color, we pulled them out again, andstarted decorating them even more by putting pictures on them I loved how pretty all the eggs looked, even though each of us made them differently
