Travelog for: Hille

Hello!

So they call me a wild release... And I think that's right for a wild animal like me! 

My owner Tatterdemalion (a.k.a. Tuija) said she'll show me around the town before letting me out into the wilderness so that I can find my way if I get lost... which shouldn't happen easily due to my bright colouring! Wink wink!

Tomorrow I'll tell you guys about how I conquered the local railway station on my way to Tuija's apartment today. That was pretty exciting!

After we got home, I started learning geography. Way to go, voyager!

Hi again!

Today it's been a really snowy day so I hanged out indoors with my new friends who live with Tuija.

This is Bossa-Nova who I moved here with yesterday. He wants to become a voyager some day, too

I told everyone about our ventures at the railway station yesterday as we were looking for railway themed postcards... but found none. Still I got to pose in front of the station building!


This evening we helped Tuija who was packing stuff for Friday as she travels to west for the Christmas.


Don't tell her, but I think I'll hide and snuggle in her bag!

I woke up in a strange place... I had been sleeping through the night under a large screen, in a very warm place, when someone woke me up. Suddenly, it was all bright and there was a weird looking thing next to me! Eek! And then... all those magazines, newspapers and comfortable looking chairs. What could this place be? I should try and find out. Off we go, upstairs!



Standing on the stairway ledge, looking at a great hall filled with books and shelves, it finally dawns on me - I am in a big big library! Wohoo! But what library is this? I will first see where these stairs take me.



On the third floor I found lots of music and a toy to play with. Wait a minute - it's a guitar filled with air. Air guitar. That's it! I'm in Oulu, home of the Air Guitar World Championships! So this must be Oulu City Library and I'm looking at the music department. I wonder if I can find some friends?



I trek back downstairs to the children and youth department, and lo and behold - I find a biiiiig friend! It kindly lets me rest on its nose before continuing my journey. This is so exciting!



This cannot be! I found a very familiar looking fellow on one of the shelves. I greet him respectfully, being one of my peers, and wander off to see if I can find my way to new travels. This is such fun!



I find a strange looking machine where books and other library stuff is fed and then they magically travel to weird looking trolleys and off to somewhere. I wonder where this will take me? I can't wait to see!
