Hello everybody and welcome to my profile!

Hi! I'm going to upload a few pictures of my little adventures in Madrid.

My mom, daddy and I are into collecting postcards, you have a picture of myself with a bunch we bought the other day. Also, I love eating paella and to be with my fluffy friend Indira, we like getting into trouble from time to time. I am looking forward to travelling abroad, although I am scared of planes and heigths. We really hope you like the pictures below. Cheers!!!

Some pictures in Casa de Campo in a sunny day. And I paid a visit to my best friend, but he is very shy and does not want to be taken photos. I had a lot of fun because I love trees and the countryside!

It's time to head for Switzerland! I have had loads of fun with Yuma these days, but we have to separate for now. This will be my first journey, so I'm a bit restless (also excited and curious). But don't worry, I'll keep you up-to-date with my adventures abroad. I'll miss you!!!

This morning I arrived in Switzerland. Jasper just came back from shopping when the postman rang twice. Ring twice means important mail - me.
I was able to climb out of my jacket - and then I sat there.





I heard faint giggling but I did not know from where.



Little by little TV's climbed out from between the herb pots.



I was greeted warmly











but as the black Something  spread its wings I was startled terrible.

I showed them my card from the beautiful Madrid, my stamp collection and the fridge magnet.





Jasper was very pleased and says thanks.

My passport impressed everyone very much.







Then we played hide and seek between the herb pots.











Now we all smell very pleasant.

Hi mommy and daddy ,
the weather was wonderful and so we took a walk to a small river called Thur.





On our way we saw really old apple trees



and an apiary.



We approached very carefully - nobody wanted to be stung.

Some flowers were seen.



Here is our romantic river Thur.



( Thur is a 131 km (81 mi ) long river in north- eastern Switzerland. Its source is near the mountain Santis , in the south -east of the canton of St. Gallen. It flows into the river Rhine on the border with Germany south of Schaffhausen.)









We found a "TV waterfall "





and frog spawn. Looks like some frogs.



Oh, oh looks like many, many frogs.



Time to enjoy the sun.

On our way we found many beautiful places.















Then I climbed a rock - or a root ?



I think both is correct. This tree holds on with its roots in the rock.
The flood of recent years has swept the earth.

Hi there,
what a surprise this morning. SNOW!



Yesterday afternoon we had 23 ° - and now?

Hello mom,
because it is so cold outside (no weather for a camel from Spain)
I helped to bake bread.
Jasper filled the flour, yeast, salt and water in the food processor.







I pressed the start button.



Looks funny.



After the dough was kneaded



I had to wait.



and wait



and wait



and wait again.



Finally, the dough had risen enough



and I was able to form a bread.






And then - wait again.



Boring



After an hour, Jasper pushed the loaf of bread in the hot oven.



One hour later we picked out a crusty, fragrant bread.





It tasted wonderful.

Hello mom,
Today we visited a special place - Quinten.
The 56 inhabitants large village of Quinten on the north shore of Lake Walen is only accessible on foot or by boat. As a car-free village Quinten is a popular intermediate and end points for hikes. Quinten has due to its unique location on the sunny side of Lake Walen and at the foot of the Churfirsten a Mediterranean climate with an annual average temperature of about 12.0 ° C, where grapes, figs, kiwi fruit and other exotic plants thrive. Also, various types of palm trees grow here. It is one of the warmest places in Switzerland. In addition, many protected reptiles such as lizards , fence lizards, smooth snakes, grass snakes and Aesculapian live in this ideal habitat for the animals.
We took the car to Murg and then by ship to Quinten.











The view was breathtaking.







We strolled through the small village













and walked along the lake.

















We enjoyed the sun, nature and our lives.











By boat we were on our way home.

Hi to all at home,
because Jasper had a lot to do at work, host brother made ​​a few things with us.
1 Project: make Spring rolls.



Host Brother prepared the filling. He did not want any problems with Jasper when we cut ourselves in the paws, hooves or wings.
Then he showed us how to shape the spring rolls.





Not so easy but I think I have a certain talent for it.







We were all proud of our work and were looking forward to the meal.



And then the disaster - during frying the dough disappeared. Why? no idea. Only the filling remained.



But this was delicious.

We will try it again.

Hello ,
our next project with host brother: make Mozzarella !
Yes, you read it correctly. We made cheese - mozzarella.
Host Brother studied chemistry and loves to try everything possible.
And we love to help him. (Jasper then always pray, that the kitchen does not explode)
Back to our cheese. We gave milk in a pot



and added some citric acid to it.



The whole we heated to ??? I do not remember - but it had to be exact.



Then we added Rennet.



Let stand a bit - stir a bit.



It looks disgusting.



This nasty stuff is called cheese curd



and is skimmed off.







The liquid that remains is heated.
Then you take something from the cheese curd and keep it short time in the hot liquid.



You pull apart the warm cheese mixture and fold them back together.



Over and over again, until it is completely smooth.



Then shape round - and ready is the mozzarella.



Of course we also formed small - TV style - cheese.



And just as naturally, we tried our homemade cheese.

Hello mom,
It's Easter and it's snowing.



No chance to look for Easter eggs outdoors.



So we had a small - but fine Easter Parade indoors.



Led by a funny sheep marched the tastiest things past us.









First, we looked

yesterday we took a hike along the Thur.
We wanted to see what happened to the frog spawn and what else has changed since our last trip.
So Jasper filled the backpack and we went into the sun.
The grass is grown and the old apple trees are in bloom.



Also, the forest is green slowly.

Because it's still snowing in the mountains, the Thur does not have much water at the moment.
