Beijing, China - 19th March 2014

By: papa_always

Hey~

Hello everyone~~it's my first time here~

I hope you will like me :p :p :p :p

My favorite spot in Museum.

I doesn't like eating bones, I like coffee better.
If there's one thing I enjoy it's a cup of coffee in bed before I get up.

Today I and little donkey,Susy,Huhn went to the Capital Museum

It is a big museum. And it is a very beautiful. Capital Museum is a large comprehensive museum in Beijing, is China's provincial and municipal comprehensive museum.

Articles exhibited in the new Capital Museum are mainly past years’ collections and unearthed historical heritages of the Beijing area, combined with the latest research results concerning the history, cultural heritages, archeology and relevant subjects of Beijing. Furthermore, by studying the successful experiences from museums both at home and abroad, modern exhibitions featured by Beijing characteristics are shaped.
We visited the “Ancient Capital Beijing— History and Culture”, “Ancient Capital Beijing — Urban Construction” and “Old Stories of Beijing — Exhibition of Old Beijing Folk  This exhibition is very interesting.

We had a happy day.

Beijing, China - 7th April 2014

Hi~Mum
This weekend is Qingming Festival in China. So We have a short holiday.

Qing Ming is a time to remember the dead and the dearly departed. More important, it is a period to honour and to pay respect to one's deceased ancestors and family members. Because it reinforces the ethic of filial piety, Qing Ming is a major Chinese festival. Literally meaning "clear" (Qing) and "bright" (Ming), this Chinese festival falls in early spring, on the 106th day after the winter solstice. It is a "spring" festival.

In contrast to the sadness of the tomb sweepers, people also enjoy hope of Spring on this day. The Qingming Festival is a time when the sun shines brightly, the trees and grass become green and nature is again lively. Since ancient times, people have followed the custom of Spring outings. At this time tourists are everywhere.

So We went to the park and  enjoyed flowers. There flowers are very beautiful
My color is of the same color as the pink flower.Mum can you find me
The spring outing was interesting. I like spring outing and I want to spring outing again.

The Last photo is last week we went enjoy the Sakura :D

Hi~Mum

We attended a Chinese wedding. The bride is PAPA's good friend.

We had arrived in hotel with bride the night before. We had a last bachelor party with bride and all the girls in the evening.

I only had try a little Breezer. That's sweet .We played many game then we  went to bed late.

Early in the morning we went to the bride's room to close the door.
The bride is very beautiful. She hugged us and take picture  and Every girl took our  for picture,Do you know which one is PAPA?
The room is full of red,PAPA said,The Chinese regard the color red as the symbol of happiness, success, luck, faith and growth. They like red very much, which comes from worship of the Sun. In traditional Chinese weddings, there are double Xi characters in red, red scarves, red flowers and the bride wears a red coat.

I  don't know why close the door,PAPA tell me The firends of bride will not  allow the bridegroom with his friends to come in early unties he agrees some terms Generally, the bridegroom will give a red paper containing money.

The bride bed stood a red dates(early), peanuts(give birth), longans(Precious), melon seeds(children),The meaning is evident in the Chinese pronunciation of these four foods. When they are said together, it sounds like "Have a baby soon."

In traditional Chinese wedding,it is ceremony  before the daughter leaves her parents to show the departure.

After saying goodbye to the bride's parents, the bride should get into a sedan chair and there will be some happy music .then these people will escort the bride to the groom. They sang as they walked so busy.

The bride can't remove the cap on her head's red handkerchief after go out.
We have also come to the wedding Hotel
PAPA said In Chinese usually wedding is Relatives and friends are invited to the feast to eat and drink to the happiness of the bride and bridegroom.
There are more than 200 people attended the wedding.the happiness candy and happiness smoke on the table.I ate the sugar is sweet!  The Red wine is a special custom,Printed with the bride and groom's wedding

The wedding started,On the stage,we can see the man seated in the left side is bridegroom's father, and the other side is his mother, and this is bride, this is bridegroom. The man who officiate the wedding like the priest in foreign.

I heard,In china ,this part calls" baitang". taht is in the traditional wedding ceremony, bride and bridegroom perform the marriage ceremony in which they pay homage to heaven and earth and to the groom's parents.

The wedding is China dishes, very delicious
After the wedding we went to bridal chamber. The new bed is red very beautiful.

I think Chinese wedding is so interesting! Then Papa said In china Most of the young people will choose western style wedding,Wedding in the church, but she's friend think Chinese wedding more funny!

I wish the newlyweds happiness~~~ :D :D :D

Sülfeld, Germany - 10th May 2014

By: RikeH

Hello Mum,

Today was a great day – Murph and his guests will come and visit us. We waited.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0004.jpg

Then they arrived.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0005.jpg

It was great to see them all.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0006.jpg

Murph brought gifts for all of us!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0012.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0014.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0018.jpg

Wonderful!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0025.jpg

Dicker Kumpel planned a game for us - how exciting!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0026.jpg

He explained the rules. We played with the die.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0027.jpg

Everyone who has a six put the cap and the scarf on like this.  Then he or she was allowed to ‘fight’ with the wrapped chocolate. This seems to be funny. Let’s start.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0028.jpg

I threw the dice – unfortunately no 6…

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0040.jpg

The next time there was a 6 – I took the cap and the scarf – and here I go.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0034.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0041.jpg

After the game we all ate sweets – yummy!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0049.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0053.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0055.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0066.jpg

It was a funny day!

Sülfeld, Germany - 11th May 2014

By: RikeH

Hello Mum,

Today we went to the forest in Grabau. First we sat on this great stone.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0068.jpg

There was a lake near to it, so the trees live in the water.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0072.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0071.jpg

We all loved this view.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0073.jpg

I learnt a lot about trees and nature here.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0074.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0076.jpg

Maybe I will become a nature musician in the future!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0079.jpg

Then it was time to look out for animals. I went in this house.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0094.jpg

There was a deer in the forest.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0081.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0083.jpg

I went near to it and it was a friendly deer – I was allowed to sit on its head!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0089.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0088.jpg

And I saw a wolf!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0092.jpg

Then we went to the lake – we saw a lot of birds there.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0097.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0096.jpg

Our last stop was this wooden wigwam.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0103.jpg

On our way back home we stopped next to a maypole.

Hamburg, Germany - 21st May 2014

By: RikeH

Hello Mum,

I went to Hamburg today. Here you see me next to the lake Alster in the middle of Hamburg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0204.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Mai_0205.jpg

Next to it I saw the town hall – a nice building.

Maybe you see the cars of the firefighters? There was a big meeting of young firefighters in the town.

On the MS Artania, North Sea - 1st July 2014

By: RikeH

Hello Mum,

I am on a Cruise-Ship. It is the MS Artania and here you see my cabin.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0004.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0005.jpg

Today was an important day - Poseidon came onto the ship, because we crossed the Arctic Circle. He was the man in green on the balcony. Some of his friends came too - strange people.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0023.jpg

Many of the humans went there to get a ‘Polartaufe’- polar christening - we didn’t want it.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0028.jpg

But I received this certificate that I crossed the Arctic Circle!

Tromsö, Norway - 3rd July 2014

By: RikeH

Hello Mum,

We arrived in the morning in Tromsö, the sky was grey, but I was sure that it would be better later this day.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0134.jpg

There was an icebreaker, but fortunately we didn’t need it.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0138.jpg

Later that morning we went to the botanical garden of Tromsö;. There were many beautiful flowers from different mountain regions of the world.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0143.jpg

This one was really big.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0150.jpg

And this one was really blue.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0154.jpg

I found a small waterfall.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0160.jpg

And a lovely lake.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0164.jpg

Do you know this cotton grass?

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0169.jpg

In the afternoon we went onto a hill and had great views over the city and the surroundings.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0175.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0180.jpg

This was funny!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0186.jpg

Another view to other mountains.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0191.jpg

Our last stop was at this wonderful church, called Eismeerkathedrale - Arctic Cathedral.

There was a big glacier behind me.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0227.jpg

A few minutes later the sun came out - and it even looked better here.

We couldn’t stop taking photos.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0259.jpg

After two hours we left the fjord.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0267.jpg

I went onto our balcony and had great views there, too.

By: RikeH

Hello Mum,

Our next stop was Longyearbyen - the largest settlement and the administrative center of Svalbard, Norway. As of 2008, the town had a population of 2,040. Longyearbyen is located in the valley of Longyeardalen and on the shore of Adventfjorden, a bay of Isfjorden located on the west coast of Spitsbergen.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0354.jpg

Some relicts from the time of coal mining here.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0358.jpg

We saw the church.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0368.jpg

And we were allowed to go into it.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0363.jpg

Wow -what is this -I would love to ride a scooter.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0373.jpg

I found one!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0381.jpg

I met an ice bear!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0388.jpg

They have their own sign here.

A wonderful view of our ship!

North Cape, Norway - 7th July 2014

By: RikeH

Hello Mum,

It was time to go back into the South, so we went to the North Cape. We should have seen it from the seaside, but look at this. Fog around the ship. Behind me there was the North Cape.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0411.jpg

Later we arrived in Honningsvag, there was sunshine and fog.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0417.jpg

This was the view to the other direction.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0421.jpg

But we left the ship and went to the North Cape. On our way we stopped and saw Niels and his reindeer.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0426.jpg

It was really funny -we drove more than 30 minutes through the fog, and when we reached the North Cape the sun was there. Do you know this globe behind me?

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0432.jpg

There was still fog on the Sea.

My last view to the North Cape, believe it or now, it was 11 p.m. in the night and the sun was still that bright.

Geirangerfjord, Norway - 10th July 2014

By: RikeH

Hello Mum,

It was a great day today - we will visit the really famous Geiranger-Fjord. In the morning we saw some people of the ship -they were good in ice-carving.

What a beautiful swan.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0612.jpg

We continued our trip and saw many nice fjords! And the sun, of course.

Then we saw the entrance to the Geiranger Fjord with some waterfalls.

This one is called Seven Sisters.

What a wonderful place!

We loved the views in the Geiranger Fjord.

There were some other ships in it.

We left the ship and jumped into a bus -and drove to the top of the mountain Dalsnibba (1495m). We had great views to the fjord and in the wonderful nature.

This was another viewpoint -closer to the Fjord -and you can see our ship in it.

Time to drive a street called Eagle-Street. It had 11 serpentines.  Now we saw the fjord with our ship from the other side.

We left and drove along the waterfall again.

On the MS Artania, Norway - 12th July 2014

By: RikeH

Hello Mum,

It was our last day on the ship - and I just walked around and want to show you some nice places here. We had nice weather again.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/2014/Artania_0815.jpg

People were sitting in the Kopernikus Bar and enjoyed their lives.

A really beautiful ice sculpture.

This place is called the atrium - you can find the reception here - and even more important - the entrance to our famous restaurant!

We had a great cruise - and I loved being on this ship.
