at home, Germany - 12th November 2013
By: Miss-Cynical
Fun at home!
Roamed around the house today, checked all the rooms and found interesting things and places to hide!
I found this very old book - I couldn't read it, but luckily it had pictures as well! The book is about everything here in Schleswig-Holstein: the villages, rivers, the sea, animals, plants ... Very cool!
Mum said it's getting cold outside now, winter is coming and so she knitted a scarf and a cap for me!
When it was ready, I tried it ... Mummy laughed and said I look stupid with the cap, as I would have no ears, but should wear it anyway so I won't get cold.
hmmm ... maybe it's not that cold yet ...

St. Margarethen, Germany - 12th November 2013
By: Miss-Cynical
Today mum took me on my first trip! We went to grammar school in St. Margarethen and met Celine.
She's nine years old and I really liked her (and she liked me, too)! My mum helps her to improve her reading skills once a week. She meets Celine at her classroom and they read books together, play word games and other nice things. And today I joined in! I could listen to a funny story about a mouse from America! We all had a great time at school!

Itzehoe, Germany - 12th November 2013
By: Miss-Cynical
After school mum took me to a strange place in Itzehoe. There was a telephone booth - but it had no telephone! Instead there were shelves attached - filled with books! Mum told me that you can leave books here or you can take one. For free! This is cool! Mum left the book of the American mouse here so that other kids can read the funny story too.
Obviously my mum really likes books. They are all around the house. This must be the reason why she can tell so many interesting bedtime stories!
Here's a picture of me in the "book booth" - and look: it was raining ... brrrrr ....

at home, Germany - 12th November 2013
By: Miss-Cynical
Back home it was time to update my profile. Mum took measurements and weight!
Oops, too many cookies the last days! :-)
Mum asked me where I want to go or what I would like to do in the future. Not easy ... I would like to see a real tiger. A real tiger must be even bigger than Jeffrey. As there are no tigers in most of the countries a trip to a zoo would be great! Or at least meet another plush tiger in another country! Meeting other cats is always fun! I know there are cat cafés out there: in Berlin, in Paris, in Japan ... maybe I get to visit a cat café one day.
Talking about travelling to another country: I would love to visit beautiful Scotland one day! I heard there are forests, Lochs, castles and hieland coos! I would love to see this! Scandinavia would be nice too!
But my biggest wish is to go to a concert with loud and wild music were I can rock out and bang my head!
Come on people - I am a TIGER, a wild animal, a beast - so I want to be wild & loud! Roooooarrr! Mum said it's okay if I wear ear plugs!

Weissenhäuser Strand, Germany - 14th November 2013
By: Miss-Cynical
Me and Trudchen (the Geocaching Cat) jumped into the car today, excited about our first trip! Mum drove east, our destination was Weissenhäuser Strand at the Baltic Sea! It's beautiful here! My first night in a hotel room, they had fruit there and Trudchen and I shared a bed together.
In the evening we met mum's friends from Mannheim: Michael and Boris. They are very kind - and funny! We all had a fantastic evening together, having a few drinks, good food and BOWLING! I couldn't lift any of the bowling balls so I could only watch, but that was fun too! Michael won, he's very good at bowling.

Weissenhäuser Strand, Germany - 16th November 2013

A walk on the beach! The sea and dunes are beautiful - it was a mild day and not very windy. Saw seagulls, collected seashells and hid in the reeds - this was a lot of fun!

at Home, Germany - 17th November 2013
By: Miss-Cynical
So sad we had to go home today! I liked the beach at the Baltic Sea!
But after a nice breakfast we had to leave and said goodbye to my new friends from Mannheim. I hope to see them again real soon.
At home Jeffrey had been missing mum very much, he was glad to have us all back. I arranged my collected seashells in a little box filled with sand. It looks nice and it will always remind me of my trip to Weissenhäuser Strand.
Ernie played a song on his guitar for me: yeah yeah yeah! We had a lot of fun.
Later in the evening Mum laminated a travel tag for me. She told me that some day I will travel alone and visit a hostmum or hostdad for some while. That'll be fun! I want to travel the world! Mum said I have to be patient until she fnds someone who wants to take care of me. And that only good and well-behaved tigers get a hostfamily!
uh-uh ...

Uhrendorf, Germany - 20th November 2013
By: Miss-Cynical
Today we took a short walk in our homezone and I found a very old and rotten boat.
The landscape and scenery are very nice here, but it was a bit windy and rainy today, which I really don't like.
You know: I don't like any kind of water!

Hamburg, Germany - 20th November 2013
By: Miss-Cynical
Today we visited a big city: Hamburg - this was my first ride on a train, and it was very exciting!
As I told you before, Mum loves books and reads a lot - she said, were are going to see a famous author!
And that he will be interviewed and read from his latest book.
We entered the CCH (Congress Center Hamburg) and there were a lot of people - by all the "Doctor Sleep" posters I realised it was the mighty Stephen King we're going to see. WOW - what a great surprise! It was the first time ever the writer visited Germany.
We had not the best seats, quite far away from the stage, but luckily there was a huge video screen. It was very interesting - Mr King seems to be a funny and very entertaining person, not scary at all as I had expected from the horror stories he writes. Some excerpts of his book "Doctor Sleep" were read and the host and the audience had a lot of questions that Mr King answered patiently and in detail.
I'm very happy Mum took me with her tonight to this very special event!

Wilster, Germany - 25th November 2013
By: Miss-Cynical
Today we took a trip to Wilster.
Here I'm at the museum of natural history, unfortunately it was closed and we couldn't get inside.
This old half-timber house used to be a warehouse for the adjacent town hall and was build in 1585.
Today it's a museum for natural history.
This is on the back of the town hall:
