Hi there!
My name is Eliott and i was rescued from a charity shop today by my human and a group of visiting toy voyagers. They accepted me as one of their own and told me all about this site and places they had been because of it. I was very excited and asked my human so set me up right away!
My human was already taking her toys out for the day, so i joined in with their travels.
We drove to the next town over, Portland, which was the host of the Olympic sailing events in 2012. The town is basically its own island, connected to the country by a single bridge, which had been flooded for the best part of the past few days so Portland had been shut off.
My human told us that there were lots of Olympic memorabilia around, but it was too windy for us to go and visit them. However, all over England there are gold, silver and bronze coloured post boxes in the home towns of Olympic medallists so we managed to visit the one that was on Portland
The plaque on the side of the mailbox said:
We then went back to my human's house, where i was freed from my dreaded tag and given my Toy Voyagers ID.
I can't wait to start my travels! Please PM my human if you wish to host me!
Eliott

The Sealife Centre, Weymouth, United Kingdom - 18th February 2014

Hi guys!
My human took me and the other TVs on a day trip to the Sea Life Centre, which is a place where rescued sea animals who cannot be released back into the sea spend the rest of their days.
She told us about how she used to go there all the time as a kid, and would always love it, so i was really looking forward to going.
First we went into the Stingray enclosure. It was basically a big tank with various fish and stingrays in with an open top so you could see in. It also had a bridge over the top so you could see the whole tank from above.
Stingrays like to bury themselves under the sand, which was what this one was doing.
In the shark enclosure, they had large viewing bubbles that you could sit in, so here we are relaxing.
I made friends with a shark! It wasn't scary at all, he was just lazying around on the rocks, watching everyone go past. He was very big though!
Here's me with a baby crocodile!
The baby sea horses were very cute! Did you know that the males carry the babies?
We then saw the penguins. it was really dark inside, so it was nice to be out in the sun again.
Group picture in the turtle tunnel!
There were lots of fish in the tunnel, along with sharks and turtles.
I finally got to see a real life turtle! All the animals in the tunnel were hit by boats, so the odd shape of his shell was caused by him being hit by a boat. He's perfectly fine though!
Jellyfish! (they're not actually pink, its just a colour changing light so you could see them better in the dark room.)
So many nemos!
it was a brilliant day out, and i'm glad the weather held out.
Bye for now!
Eliott

Hi again!
I made it safely to the United States! I had to wait a little bit before I met my host mom because she was visiting family in New York so I stayed in Wisconsin with my host dad. Here's a picture of me finally being able to get out and stretch my legs!

They have another cat named Chet but he's grumpy and so I stayed away from him.
But I met lots of other friends there. A robin made out of yarn! I really liked her.

When I first arrived it was raining. It rained every day for two weeks straight! But that's okay, we drank a lot of tea and explored my new home. And I got to play with their one year old son. He's so sweet and very gentle with me. We have been on so many adventures, I can't wait to tell you all about them!

I read lots of stories with their little boy. He has so many books. I really liked looking at the pictures. With the weather being so bad all we could do is read books and cuddle on the couch. It was very nice actually. My host mom says that when it clears up she'll take us to the zoo. I can't wait!

We didn't do much until the weekend. After the baby was asleep my host mom took me out for some drinks with friends. It was great fun! We rode on her green bike and I got to try a Chicago dog from a food truck. It was delicious. Then we stopped off at a brewery. My host mom let me try a little beer - I hope you're not mad about that, Mom. Then we went to a show. I fell asleep on the ride home I was so exhausted. I think we'll all sleep in tomorrow.

We went to the zoo today. It was so much fun. It's not a very big zoo but I got to see buffalo, hyenas, tigers, lots of birds, sheep, goats, and a donkey. I was hoping to see an elephant like me but there wasn't one there. Oh well, we still had fun.

We went on a walk today and found a cave. There a lot of breweries around here and they use to use caves to keep their beer cool before refrigeration.

Saturday is Farmer's Market day and they have a huge one here. There aren't too many veggies out yet but we did get rhubarb, onions, and asparagus. My host mom is going to make a rhubarb meringue pie. She said I can help.
Then we took a walk to a park and had a breakfast picnic of coffee and donuts. The park has a labyrinth and we played there. There's also an old railroad bridge that has been converted into a walk bridge. It was a beautiful day.
