Travelog for: Gabby

Hi guys!

My name is Gabby and I'm new to Toy Voyagers. I'm my Mum's second TV and couldnt wait to get in on the action after Glenn left to travel the world.



I can't wait to see all the amazing sites and to meet new people! I really want to travel the states, and visit as many aquariums and zoos as possible! I'd also like to one day visit Japan as I love their culture.

But for now, I'm content travelling with my Mum while she finds me a host.

ThomasHH came in the post this morning, which was exciting! He bought biscuits from Germany which were delicious! He told us stories of all the amazing places he'd visited and i got even more excited to start my own travels!



ThomasHH helped me make my ID tag which was fun, but I got covered in glue and had to take a bath. I didn't mind much, I LOVE the water!



After, we helped Mum make her favourite food, Lasagne. It was delicious!



Mum's taking me and ThomasHH into town tomorrow which should be fun. We didn't get to go out today because it was raining again, so I'm looking forward to (Hopefully!) seeing the sun!

Hi Guys!

My mum had to go to school today, so we didn't get to do much. Our visiting TV, ThomasHH and I helped her get ready for school by guarding her hairspray and brush from her thieving sister.



We weren't allowed to go to school with her, but we got to ride in the car while she travelled to school. The weather was for once being nice so it was a nice journey



when she got back from school we went to the library. The librarian told us we couldn't take photos in there but we got a new zombie book to read!



Mum had lots of homework she needed to do, so she put a harry potter film on for us and gave us a bar of chocolate. we then played a game on the xbox.

Two new TVs arrived today! I was excited to see them both, and hear all about their travels. I haven't started my own yet, but my mum tells me that she's found me a host! I hope it's sunny where I'm going, it hasn't stopped raining here!

The first to arrive was Little Squirt from Australia.



The second was Batyr from Russia.



Mum had the day off today, so we went on a road trip to the next town over. W didn't get out of the car but the journey was nice... Until we got stuck there for hours because the car got a flat tyre and we couldn't get home until it was fixed!



When we got home, we made cakes to celebrate the arrival of Batyr and Little Squirt.



They came out well and were very tasty, we make great cooks!

Hi!

The weather was really nice this morning! It was sunny and warm, and we all got ready to go out, but as soon as we were ready to leave it started raining again



I was really excited to go out because today is my last day with my mum, but id rather have not gone out in the storms! We stayed in and made pancakes instead. i got to help mix the batter.



They came out really well, Mum taught me how to flip the pancakes properly so they dont endup stuck to the ceiling or a pile of mush in the pan. I had Nutella on my pancakes, but the others had either sugar or syrup.



Over the last couple of days mum and I have been putting together my envelope for me to travel in. We padded it out with snacks and a gift for my new host, i think it will be nice to stay in for a few days. I said goodbye to all my new friends and then got in my envelope to be posted.

Hi mum!

How are you? I'm fine! I have arrived in Delft. I couldn't see anything in my envelope, but I could hear voices saying: "Hold on, we'll set you free!"

When I came out, I saw a little girl and a friendly tiger! "Hi guys, I'm Gabby," I said and gave them a big hug. My new friends are called Suomi-Girl (she's from Finland) and Tigerlily (from Germany). I landed in the midst of a Valentine's party!

I gave my presents (which they liked very much) and then we talked and laughed and ate heartshaped candy. I think I like it here!

Dear mummy!

Here you can see I'm really in Delft!

We walked to the city center and on the way we passed this sculpture. It depicts an Etruscan Treasure Trove, but Emjay insists it's a ToyVoyager church!

Spring is coming! 

Can you see me on the cow's head?

This is a small shopping mall where Emjay often buys things. It's really quiet now, on Sunday morning.

As you may know, Delft is famous for Delft Blue pottery. Throughout the city you can find all kind of things inspired by Delft Blue, like this bench.

This is the neighbourhood where Emjay grew up. It has changed a lot since then. But this nice statue of children playing is still there!

We're in the city center now. First thing we see is the small harbor.
