Between March 2008 and September 2008 Zahli's temporary mentor will be Stef.
Hello
My name is Zahli Zebra and I'm a rather laid back lady zebra. As you can see from my missions I enjoy horse racing and will sometimes have a little flutter (usually without much success!!). I'm very happy to go anywhere you might like to take me, so please, if you have room for a zebra in your travels please let me know!

Zahli finally got on her way yesterday. She's been getting more anxious day after day because she's been sitting in the car waiting for me to get to the post office before it shuts. (and for someone as laid back as Zahli, that means she's anxious!
We all hope to hear from her soon!

They do have strange zebras here in this country I had to climb a chair to look them in the eye. I was a bit impressed but my friends told me they are harmless.
Thank goodness I have a nice mate her as well...but the color is RED !! yuck...though he is a very kind zebra.

Oh boy is this country wet...We looked outside and noticed the roads are all like rivers..
Tess had to see someone in the village but was send back because the car was not allowed to "swim" any further.I have never seen this happen in Australia.
Guess what they do watch Animal Planet in this house and my hosts are BIG Steve Irwin fans and were so sad when they heard he was killed .
So we could not go out and find cool things to see.
Maybe tomorrow I will travel with her to the doggie training class.Hum...lots of dogs BIG Barking ones too.
We shall have a group meeting me and the other friends here whether we like that or report in sick!! We spend the day reading the guys an I
However we did find a cute picture in the newspaper about the birth of a baby Zebra in a Zoo in Emmen. Tess will glue it in my book to prove

Groningen, Netherlands - 15th July 2007

Last week I went along to visit Wendy (granddaughter of Tess our host) in hospital.Oh boy Zebra's do not like the smell nor the needles ..in that place !!
We could not take any pictures nor could I give some Ausssie hugs but Wendy waved at me (Zahli) from behind the double glass windows and made a drawing for the logbook,
Which Tess will glue into it.
The roads are still very wet and slippery so the outdoor fun was not to easy.At least not for a Zebra with class and style.
Tomorrow will be better so the Dutch weatherman keeps telling us.
At least I sleep in a stylish bed along with my red Zebra mate.
I must confess I became quite attached to him...

Today after lots of rain Zahli and his friends were even allowed to be on the garden table to welcome Sabrina doll from Germany.
Zahli , Froddo, and Slimy were goofing around, even arm wrestling..of course ZAHLI did not like that annoying game..but Froddo the frog and Slimy did.. ..They are all very excited for the trip to Assen next Saturday for a visit to Wendy and Alex home...and see where this baby they meet every day lives..
Lots of toys and living monster cats (so our cats informed them) live there as well . We will take pictures from the drive and some of shopping and buying certain birthday presents..
But oh boy they honestly hope no more strangers arrive here or the bed will be too small for them to sleep comfortable...

Bruchsal, Germany - 29th August 2008
By: fam-united
Yentl and I just arrived in Bruchsal. We had a difficult time in the Netherlands and we are still praying, that everything will be ok for the little girl as soon as possible.
Now we are waiting to see a bit more of Bruchsal and we want to go to Cologne with fam-united. They talked about meeting another toyvoyager member there, so of course we are a bit excited about this too.
Hugs from sunny Germany
Zahli and Yentl
