In Tee's classroom, the students put their backpacks and lunchboxes in shared cubbies. Tee shares with a girl who loves pink and purple like I do.
I looked for Virginia on the classroom globe. It is on the Eastern coast of America, westward across the Atlantic Ocean from my home.
The first graders are reviewing their spelling words from last year. I can make funny sentences with these words.
3tmom and I went home when the students went outside for recess. They are very loud and noisy during recess.

There's a barre for stretching and a mirror for admiring and an instructor for admiring and dancers for admiring and....
I'm overwhelmed.
Nellie says she'll give me private lessons this week so that next week I can dance with the ballerinas.

Tonight the neighbors had a bonfire. We roasted marshmallows in the fire. They are very sweet. I wore my sweater for the first time here because the night air was cool. The flames reached so high, I couldn't see my friends across the fire.

We played "Pin the Horns on Smooch".
Buzz Lightyear turned each of us around, "1..., 2..., 3...."
Then, shouts of "Right, ", "No, left, left, right" until the player pinned the horns on Smooch.

Then we played "Musical Chairs".
We walked around the chairs while the band played a horn and when the music stopped, we rushed to sit down. The player without a seat watched the next rounds.
Each round, there was one less seat.
Ooof, Mara-Joy, I have this seat.

My birthday cake is a beautiful butterfly!
My friends sang

And then I blew the candle out.
The cake was yummy.
