Jules thinks the lilacs in bloom are one of the most heavenly as to their fragrance. They smell wonderful!

Jules thought all the trees in bloom were beautiful as well.
His favorite was this white flower and it was also full of fragrance.

Over the weekend Jules got to do a couple of fun things. First he met the famous American "Smokey Bear." He learned what Smokey tells everyone-----------------------
"Only You Can Prevent Forest Fires"
Jules knows that when you go camping in America you must remember to put water on your camp fire before leaving the area to help prevent forest fires.

All the toyvoyagers that were staying with BunTraveler got into the car on Sunday and off they went to another city. It was kind of a surprise for everyone as they didn't know where they were going or what they were going to do when they got there.
Then all of a sudden they were at a Carousel in another city.
All the toyvoyagers got to ride on the carousel. It was a fun afternoon.

There was a lot of information about this carousel at the facility. Everyone was instructed on how the Merry-Go-Round was built and how the horses are carved by hand and made out of a wood that came from Oregon. Each horse is named and then painted to match the colors that the designer chose.
It is a very long project with some of the horses taking over 2 years to carve and paint before being installed on the carousel.
There was a great deal of information for all the toyvoygers to read and learn. They just wanted to go for a ride.

Here is a link to the home of the carousel and information all about how it was created. It's very helpful information if you are interested in how carousels and the horses and other items are made that go onto the carousel.

Not everyone could fit on the cow so we got to set together in small groups. The cow was built as a project to donate money for a children's organization in the city. To help feed the children in the inner cities and provide better lunches for the children. The fund raising goes on yearly and supports itself by great public donations. It definately helps to feed the city children each year that might not be able to have much food to eat each day.

All the toyvoyagers got to run around and play on the carousel while it was sitting still. Then everyone was loaded onto a small wagon so that everyone could go at the same time and got to ride the carousel -- Merry-go-Round -- three times in a row.
No one got sick or dizzy. It was great fun and everyone wanted to go again and again.
We think out host was getting very dizzy though because she said now it is time to leave.
But it was a great day for a bunch of toyvoyagers hanging out together.

We drove for 4 HOURS and finally arrived. Its really smokey because of all the forest fires, so alot of the pictures we took were no good (Bummer!)
We set up camp and one of the nice people we camped with brought us donuts! We all shared one while unrolling the sleeping bag.

So after a few days of camping and fun, with the camera NOT working right, we headed back to Izzy's, tired and dirty. on the ride home the camera suddenly worked! So we took as many pictures as we could! We drove through part of Nevada and Reno, then through the seirra nevada's.
