Travelog for: bumble

I am hitting the beach today!!  We go to the Hobe (pronounced Hoo-Bee) Beach in Virginia Key. 



You can see the Miami skyline in the background.



It's weekend so a lot of people come here to enjoy the outdoors.  They just park their car, take out the beach chair, turn up the radio and sit facing the ocean for a leisurely day.  Some take along a barbaque grill or picnic.





It's probably hard to see in the photo but there are some people fly fishing.



Some people go kayaking in the ocean.



While others go bicycle riding.



And some dogs enjoying a swim.



Look there are some coconuts on the tree!



We (Cliff and Floppers as well) climb the palm tree together.



I collect some shells.



I have so much fun at the beach today.

Today we play with the host's parrotlet.



I become good friends with him, as we are about the same size and both have wings. He doesn't like honey though.

I am getting ready to leave Miami but today we are going to visit a place with some flowers so I can say good bye.

This place is actually a fancy outdoors shopping mall called The Village of Merrick Park, in Coral Gables, one of the most affluent neighborhood in the U.S.  We didn't do any shopping there, but the place is very well tended and the garden is beautiful with lots of statues and flowers.

Well I sure have fun in Miami and now I look forward to visit somewhere else!

Hi this is Floppers, Bumble's friend.  I got to know Bumble when we stayed together at Tarepanda's place.

I am sorry we don't have news about Bumble.  We said farewell to him back in July, when he flew off to see Oksana in Russia.  I think the trip may be too long for our little friend to fly.  Maybe he takes a rest and forgets that he has somewhere to go.  Bumble is sometimes forgetful like that. 

When Tarepanda told us that Bumble did not make it to Russia, we are all very worried.  But the post office said that unless we buy insurance on our packages, they cannot trace it. 

We also go online and find out that actually there is a Missing Bee Phenomenon going on.  A lot of honey bees are missing and people don't know what happen to them.  Looks like it's a tough time being a little bee.

Dear Bumble, we hope you are just resting somewhere and one day soon you will continue your journey.  We miss you a lot and are really sad not to have new from you!
