Today a New Toyvoyager arrived at marije her house.It was Palmeke a blue bird


We are waiting,and exciting


Finally there is Palmeke



We were watching Titanic,it is a really romantic movie



and tonight we were playing on the playstation.We played Fifa it is a soccer game.We had so much fun

Today we read the Dutch Newspaper,cause we really want to know whats on in the world these days.We dont understand Dutch But marije translated it for us in English



after that we ride a Dutch bike,it was so much fun to do



It was bokkie her idea to climb in a tree,and offcourse we played who is first on top of the tree,but bokkie is a springbuck so she was to fast for us



Marije has a really cool moped,it really look likes a motorcycle but it isnt.



We also played a game,it was Domino

Today we eat some typical Dutch things with Marije

we eat a "kroket"with mustard,its a typical dutch meatroll.It was delicious



after that we eat fries with peanut sauce (its a sauce made from peanuts),and mayonaisse.Its the way how Dutch people eat their fries



and we eat some "drop"to its  typical Dutch candy


and now we are a bit nauseous

Today Marije deceided that we take a Dutch Lunch
It was a biscuitrusk (In holland we called it a beschuitje) with chocolate sprinkels (translated in Dutch "hagelslag") with butter on it.


hmm it was delicious

After that we deceided to get into the sun and get a tan.Cause is finally great weather in Holland .So we really enjoyed it

But first we had rub each other in with sun-glare ,cause maybe we burned our skin


and then it was time to enjoyed the sun



And we had some visitors this afternoon

it was a dutch dog and a beautiful dutch pony.Thy were very friendly and nice.We drinked tea and eat some cookies.And we made some new friends

Today we say goodbye to Ede.We are going to Lejow.We had such a great time here.And we made a lot of friends.And i am gonna miss them all.Bokkie is such a great friends of us ,and so is Palmeke!
Marije was so sweet to us.We really loved it here

Hello!!
This week we arrived at our second home in the Netherlands, Lejow's place!!

We immediatly expierenced a special day in the Netherlands
Because today it is may 4th. A very special day for the Netherlands.
At the 5th of may, 63 years ago, the World War II ended.. And today is the day that everybody in Holland rembers the people that had died in that War.
Not only the people, but also all the soldiers that served our country.

On every TV station, round a quarter before 8, the remembrance of the death begin.
In Amsterdam, on the Dam, the Queen (Beatrix) and her Son (Prince Willem Alexander) put down flowers as a remembrence of the people who died.

At exactly 8 o clock, everybody (ok at least a lot of people) have two minutes sillence, to let everybody know it is 8 a clock, someone plays a special song on a trumpet.

It was a special day, it let me think about the war, and all the people who died. Even if it's 63 years ago, it's important to allways remember it.

Hello!

We don't know what's happening.. The whole week is such beautiful weather!!
De dutch people arren't just to this kind of weather in May :P

So we went cycling.
Lejow showed us the glass warehouses. Those are typical for the area she is living in : 'Het Westland'.
In the glass warehouses, they are growing a lot of things. From plants, to vegetables (roses, paprikas, tomatoes, etc. etc.)


And this is the village she is living in, Poeldijk!

Hello!!!
Yesterday we did something romantic We watched the sun went down!
It was sooo nice, and from Lejows balcony you have a perfect view!!







Today Lejow found her balcony a little bit boring, so we went to a gardencentre, to buy all kinds of plants and flowers..
We worked very hard, but the results where beautiful!







She even bought a strawberryplant!

Hello!!
This week had to say goodbye to Meleleuca After a long stay in the Netherlands, he is going to France now!

To 'celebrate' his goodbye, we went sitting on the balkony yesterday evening. The weather in Holland is still nice and warm. So even on 10 o clock in the evening it was nice to sit outside (and that is rarely!)








Today, when he was ready to leave and crawl in the envelope.. The doorbell rang!!
It was a big envelope.. What is in it??


We decided to take a look

It was Pimboli Who came out!!


We had a short talk, and a big hug, and than Mele's time had really really come.

Today we had to say goodbye again! This time Sylphide is going further on his trip.
But before he crawl in the envelope, Lejow had a suprise for us!
The first 2 strawberries from her own strawberryplant where ready to eat!'
So we all take a bite, they were Jummiiee!!




then it was time for me, to say goodbye to Sylphide, we gave him a big hug

Hello!!

This weekend we went to Eryah in Alkmaar! She is a friend of Lejow's!
On our way to it, we drove by Schiphol, the largest airport of the Netherlands. We couldn't make a stop unfortunately, but we did saw a plane!!
Do you see it?


We went to Eryah to celebrate her birthday. Lejow, Magicwoman and another friend, bought a all in one printer for Eryah, as a present. She was happily suprised.
Off course we helped putting it al together.




In the evening we had a big party. We played on the Nintendo Wii and ate a lot of ice cream
It was fun!

Hello!
Yesterday we went to the catholic church of Poeldijk. It is called : The Bartholomeus kerk.
And it is almost the highest point of het Westland (the place where Lejows lifes).
Unfortunate there was something going on inside, so we could go in!









When we went back home, Lejow showed us the view from her balcony..
