Arras, France - 21st March 2008
By: Fleurdunord
Bonjour !
I'm very happy of my stay in France; I've visited Arras but the weather was so bad we had to go back to the flat. Pimboli joined us recently. He was happy to have some news from Michele. Sometimes i speak dutch with my friend Malcom. The old stay at home teddy bear Fanette read the "1001 night" for us.

Bonjour !
Joyeuses Pâques! (happy Easter).
I travelled by train to the countryside this week-end. We were welcomed at Fleur's parent's by a good tea. I love this place with all the animals : Austerlitz the cat and the big dog is Crumble. We had lot of chocolates for Easter. Then we all jumped into the car of Fleur's father.

We had some snow at Easter evening when we drove back !! Joey the shetland pony loves too much the snow. Today i had fun with big stay at home toys : a bird from Ireland and a singing dog. I also played with the cat Austerlitz and another cute big dog called Alhea.

Arras, France - 1st April 2008
By: Fleurdunord
Bonjour!
What happened here ? Too many things to write !! Last week-end, we welcomed a new tv: Youp the monkey, great another dutch friend ! But we had to say bye bye to Malcom (I'll miss him) and Supergrover who are going to Scotland ; Tony the english bear left us for the netherlands. Since Fleur has a bad cold, we didn't go to the market togather. She said we'll go on next saturday. i enjoyed watching this final of the soccer cup , even if Fleur's favorite team (Lens) lost the game. We had a good tea with an apple pastry called "chausson aux pommes" on sunday. There was a new tv : Muuimipeikko from Finland. She travelled to the USA and gave us some chocolate. She's so sweet.

[size=3]Bonjour !
Busy week once again ! I went to the library on wednesday, it was a former abbey built during the XVIIIth century. On thursday, Fleur came back from her office with 2 new friends : a shaking snake and a crazy cow. they can't be stay at work toys anymore. On friday we welcomed a new tv : Stasiek the pinguin from Poland. Yesterday it was raining but we went to the market. Fleur got for us some pastries and made a good tea! Today we had a french brreakfast : a baguette or a croissant with hot chocolate. Very yummy! I went to the fair at the main square of Arras and had lot of fun. The weather wasn't better. Our friend Maybe will travel tomorrow so we all said good bye. We're going on holidays with Fleur who's off for 2 weeks.

yesterday, the weather was fine and i enjoyed the garden with the flowers. These tulips remind me the Netherlands. We also had a good tea. Then i tried to help Gaelle (Fleur's sister) to bake a pizza.

Bonjour !
I went to St Omer (the city near Wardrecques) with Fleur & her mum for shopping yesterday. Then we had some rest with this white cat who took good care of us. After the market, we all went for a long walk along the channel river with Fleur, her mum, her sister Gaelle & Crumble the dog. We were all so tired it was good to have a tea with those dry waffle from the market. The river with the boat remind me my country, north of France isn't very different ...

On wednesday, I've done a long walk in a place called Rommelaere. There you can see rivers and lakes. There was many birds to watch, especially the swanns, and some frogs. It was beautiful.

Orange, New South Wales, Australia - 28th April 2008
By: sararingham
Hey! I arrived in Australia this morning... after the long Anzac weekend, so I'm glad to be here so quickly, there was a lot of room in the package that I was stuck in so I had more than enough breathing room! I had so much fun in France... and now that I've gotten to Australia it's gotten quite cool, it didn't get above 10'C today, it was very very windy... but I was rescued from the mail box while it was still sunny. Shortly after I came in, this is what happened:
LOTS of rain! You can even see hail coming down... this isn't common down in Australia lately. Sara says in the last while - the last 13 or so days it's been raining in Sydney, but it hasn't rained in the Central West in a long time, so this was much needed!
I also got to meet up with Gracy the famous toyvoyager rescuer.. :-) She's so nice! Hopefully a bit later this week I can see a bit more of Orange... we'll see how it goes... it's time for bed though, I'm quite tired from the traveling! Talk soon!
