Yeah ,today my big trip  has started,i'm going to France.At the moment i'm in a big white envelope,wich is very very dark,but when i arrived i'm sure I have a lot of fun with Fleurdunord in France

Wow, I'm very happy to be at Arras and to discover France !! My host Fleur was back from her holidays and pick me up from the post office today. I've been welcomed by some stay at home toys and by some travellers : Donald and Dirkie. It was great to meet another dutch guy : i feel at home. With my new friends we could taste a few japanese sweets Fleur just received today from a friend. I also try to eat a special bread called "baguette", with Dirkie. I can't wait to explore Arras tomorrow, right now i'm a bit tired but i hope you'll enjoy the pictures!

yesterday, Fleur & I went to the market. I've seen lot of food (veggies, meat, cheese...) it was very colorful. Then we went to the baker and we got a big cookie for tea time and croissants for today's breakfast. We all tried to help Fleur to bake a big cheese pie (Flamiche au maroilles). The french cheese called Maroilles really stinks and you can be sure i miss dutch cheese!

yesterday afternoon Fleur was off but very tired after her hectic work. So we just relax and watch tv. I 've lot of fun watching the pink panther and had a tea with cookies. In the evening, there was a soccer game , it was Fleur's favorite team playing and there was many goals (the team Fleur supported won 5-4. It was great !! )Don't worry mum, i didn't drink a drop of this belgian beer... My tv friends will leave soon to visit other places. I'm supposed to go to the countryside this week-end. Fleur's sister will celebrate her birthday.

I feel a litlle bit sad today : my friends Donald and Dirkie are gone to different countries. I just hope i'll have a good time this week-end and I'll meet other friends soon.

I had a good week-end in the countryside. I enjoyed to travel by train, many things to watch through the window. I could play in the garden and there was lovely flowers. Especially the first daffodils. Today i'm very happy to have a new friend here : Tony from England!

yesterday, Fleur, Tony and I went to the library. This library was former abbaye from the XVIIth century. The weather was really cold. I was also very happy there's a new toy from australia called Supergrover. He's a blue guy. For teatime we got some canadian cookies : a gift from Fleur's sister who spent some days in Canada. I enjoyed this mapple taste.

I'm very proud to say i completed a mission today! But let's talk about the days before ... On sunday, Fleur did a french breakfast for us and after lunch she had to go for local elections. We all went to the city hall but couldn't do any pic since it was too rainy. Actually the weather is very bad here : rain and wind ... Today, after work, Fleur came with some french fries for lunch. It was very good, but we couldn't eat every thing : it was too much ! (and it was the smallest size!) People from north of France love to eat french fries. Fleur came from the post office with a new guest : an american alien called Maybe. She travelled in the netherlands so she could speak dutch a little bit with me. We baked some cookies for teatime and it was very yummy!

This week-end, we travelled to Wardrecques, in the countryside. So i could enjoy the french train again. I had a good time with all my friends, playing in the garden, with the animals (especially austerlitz, the black & white cat). Fleur's sister (Aude) has done a little drawing of all of us. I'm so happy of it!

The weather is auwful these days, you can't believe it's spring time ... We welcomed 2  new friends here : Coop, a shy teddy bear who's dutch too and Pimboli, an american monkey. We have lot of fun all togather. Tonight, Fanette, the old french teddy bear read for us the " tales of 1001 nights".

joyeuses pâques ! I was at Fleur's parent's in the countryside this week-end. We travelled by train. There was a lot of chocolates for Easter. We all went to Fleur's grand-father for a Easter lunch. It's an hour drive and Fleur's father's car was very comfortable.[/size]
