Helloooo!

Today we went to Scheveningen again. We went to see a movie and see the sunset.
We saw Kung Fu Panda, and laughed a looooot!


First we played in the sand

and after that we saw the beautiful sunset. It was raining the whole day, but it in the afternoon the sun appeard and showed us this!!!

Hello!
I had the most wonderfull, awsome, exciting weekend EVER!!
Lejow had a short holiday break with her boyfriend, and she took us (the TV's) with her.
We went to a place called Nijkerk.

Sunday we first went to the zoo in Amersfoort.
Wow, it was so beautiful
We saw so much animals!!
















And then.. my biggest dream EVER came true.
I met some other dinosaures!!
The had a real dino forest in the zoo, SO COOL!
I made lots of friends:

Today, the last day, we went to a some kind of Castle.
At least, what we thought that it was
There were people living, so we could get any closer, or even inside of it..
That was a pitty!

It was called 'Oldenaller'



Later this day we went to a TV toys museum. They had all kinds off tv puppets over there.
We weren't allowed to make pictures, but I secretly got on the picture with Dexter


Now we are home, and tired
Time to sleep!!

This was a strange day, al three of us went traveling further to the next host

We gave each other a big hug, and than it was time to go in the boxes and envelope

I've arrived safe and sound in Austin, Texas! Boy, is it HOT here!!    My hostess promises to post photos soon...

boy, traveling makes me hungry! thankfully, rothko took me to a place where they had lots of different kinds of yummy asian food. we shared a plate of honey ginger chicken and it was really really good!

today rothko took me to work with her. boy, does she get up EARLY! we got up at 4:15am to get ready, and got to the coffee shop at 5. here i am next to the espresso machine!




we left work around 11:00. later that day it was time for me to meet her pet, chester the budgie! he had to be taken to the veterinarian to get his flight feathers clipped -- otherwise he might fly into dangerous places like the kitchen and hurt himself or eat something bad for him. here we are in the waiting room:



it didn't take very long, and then we were on our way home!

rothko and her husband took me along to a nice coffee shop. i had some really great coffee while they sat and planned a vacation to west texas for later in the fall. i helped them look for good travel web sites -- after all, i'm quite the seasoned traveler myself! 

Today we went to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Expo! There was so much to see and do!



First I met a Barbary Falcon. He looked pretty scary, but he was on a leash so he couldn't come get me! 




Then I said hello to an American original -- the skunk. Being from Europe, I had never seen a skunk before, so it was really exciting! They can be pretty smelly, but this one was filled with stuffing, just like me, so I wasn't worried about going home all stinky!




There was an armadillo, too -- just like our friend Little Tex! He was a lot bigger, though. Such a strange and interesting fellow!




And then I got to sit in a saddle, just like a real cowboy! It was really cool!

We had a really good time, but it was nice to get back home and out of the hot sun. I think it was over 30 degrees Celsius that day. Phew!

i'm ready to move on to my next destination, but my host found one more thing for us to do before she could say goodbye.

in the US there's a magazine called make: that has all sorts of weird and goofy technology products you can make. they've started putting on an event called maker faire where people bring all sorts of their own creations -- it's really cool! 

here we are in the arena, where someone had created two giant tesla coils -- big electrical thingys that shoot lightning back and forth -- and somehow managed to play music with them -- it was REALLY LOUD, but really awesome!!


then i met another dinosaur!!!!    he lived in a big art project that someone had made:


i also went to a lego city:


and this huge robot behind me is called "the ponginator." it moves around, sings songs, talks, and shoots ping pong balls out of its guns with huge blasts of air! it's really cool!


i'm on my way to california tomorrow to see magickzzl and her friends! i'll miss texas, but i can't wait to see more of the USA! 

Rex went into the post today -- he's on his way to California! 

I have arrived! My host Izzy and my new friend Repa tell me we're off to go see a corn maze! California is already fun!

Now whats a corn maze you ask? Its a maze carved into a corn field! It was quite something. they had a pumpkin patch, hay pile, tractors and 43 acres of CORN! We ran up and down the maze for almost 3 hours in the dark, untill they threw us out. Dont worry about it being so dark, we had glowsticks to protect us. There were 3 large wooden stair structures we found and climed to figure out where we were. it was alot of fun!

Izzy and her friend were very bad at finding the way, so I had to help them out.

At the pumpkin patch part I saw the strangest pumpkins I have ever seen! Some were tiny, some giant! Some were blue and sick looking and there were even white ones! How strange.
