It is a turtle!!! A real baby turtle!! I spent night and day watching the misterious egg and today it happened. Wow, it was so exciting, I nearly peed my pants... haha. So, now she's out of the egg and I have seen it. Jessy called her "Schildi" because in German turtle means "Schildkröte".
Schildi has to lay in the water for a while and grow, but she's very nice, although we couldn't talk to each other. So I will stay in her near and visit her as often I can. When she comes out of the water, I will tell her about Toyvoyagers, that's for sure.
In the afternoon Jessy was out of the house, visiting her grandparents over the weekend, Katrin and Tilo were sleeping. So I had the chance to do a little adventure travelling through Jessy's room alone. You know, I told you, yesterday, I guessed, I heard something like a cow, so I decided to check this. Unfortunately, for me Jessy's room is a world for its own, so I think, it will take me some days to find it out. But I made some nice aquaintances. I stopped at the house of Mr.&Mrs. Pocket. That's a couple, they live alone. I didn't expect, that them house looks from the inside more bigger than from the outside , maybe that's because Mr. and Mrs. Pocket are so small. Who knows. But they showed me all rooms and we had a nice "koffiekransje" together. Wow, Mrs. Pocket made a nice cake. Then it was late and I needed to go home to make sure, that nobody miss me.

Hello again.
I'm sorry that I didn't write over the weekend. Katrin's camera had a problem. But now everything is fine again and I will tell you what happened. I met somebody!! His name is Horst, he is a male cow, around my age, and a little big bigger than me. He's got beautiful black eyes, a nice haircut and a very cute smile. But he is the first male cow that I met so far, that's why I'm not sure yet, what becomes out of this. I found him in Jessy's room. He lived there, in the toy shelf and tried to hide for me all the time, because he is very shy. Today I finally could get him out of the room and he showed me the beautiful town Meissen. It was a very warm and sunny morning. We walked to the castle and the cathedral and had a great view. I've seen all the beautiful buildings and bought a postcard as a souvenir as well. It is really romantic there. Horst promised me, to go to a date on Wednesday in a very nice cafe. So tomorrow I think, it is time for a beauty day. Here are pictures again. Take good care. I love you all. OH, my God.... my first date!!!

Today was my beauty day, because I wanted to become a pretty cow before my first date with Horst. I went to the day spa and got a big soap for my own. It was an italian soap, and I still smell sexy :-). Then I took a bath in my own whirlpool and relaxed for an hour or maybe 2. Later on I was chosing some special clothes for my first date.

Today was my BIG day. Horst and me went to the Cafe "Wehnert" in Meissen. I was so exited. Horst picked me up and brought me a glover as a gift, that he found on a meadow. I blushed! He made compliments about my pretty dress as well. Then we walked to the cafe. And guess what happened: Katrin forgot the camera. But I wasn't mad at all. Horst booked a very nice table in a corner and there were candlelights on the table, so we decited to stay there alone for a while, to meet each other better and we could talk with each other. Then we decited, to have another candle light "koffiekransje" at home again, then Katrin could make a nice picture. But what really happened in Cafe "Wehnert" will keep Horst and my secret! ;-) I will write soon.
Kisses, your Bertha ... and Horst

Hello again.
It is still raining here. It's a shame. We can't go out and do something, although there are so many places I'd like to see here all around. Fortunately, Katrin showed me a couple of postcards with all the sight seeing places, I haven't been yet. I also wrote a card to you
Later today, I helped planting little baby plants in new pots. When they are growing well, they will become Chillie plants with real chillie peppers on it. I asked, if I can get some seeds and Katrin gave me some. They will come together with a couple of souvenirs soon. But be careful, they can be really hot!!!
Oh, and more hot news: .... I hope it wasn't a one-night-stand....
Kisses
Bertha

Hello again! My stop here in Meissen is going to an end this weekend. It sucks! It rains all the time and if it doesn't rain, than it is cold. And that's a spring? Today we finally hit a little piece of sun and Katrin took me to the highlight of the trip, the visiting of the porcellain manufactory in Meissen. I've seen so much and learned a lot. It was totally interesting and exciting. In the first house we visited on a round way the stations of making porcellain figures. Some people formed heads and bodys, other people made dishes. Of course we couldn't make a picture inside there, because we could disturb the porcellain workers, what we don't wanted. After we visiting the big museum with the history porcellain dishes from different centuries, Katrin and me came out of the building and the rain got gave us a welcome shower. I wanted to ride on the big deco horse outside of the building what you can see on the pic, but it was so wet and dirty up there. Unfortunately there was a road work right outside of the building. So we made a hurry picture. We didn't wanted to look like pigs. But I found some nice souvenirs for you in the museum - you will freak out, if you see what I'll send you. It is a piece of original porcellain of course, but I won't tell you what it is. Katrin promised me to find a small box for it, to make sure, that it won't break on the postal way.
We had to make a hurry shopping as well on our way, took a subway sandwiche for eating at home.
When we came home, we were both so wet and frozen, that we made a hot bath for us. A japanese penfriend sent Katrin Bathsalt from Shiseido the other day. Unfortunately Katrin likes to bath very hot, so I decited to make a ride on the boat first before I jumped in the water.

Today we finally had a little sun and Horst and me were playing hide and seek in Katrin's Garden. We were so lucky! But sad as well, because tomorrow I need to say goodbye to Horst, Katrin and Jessy for a while. Horst told me, when I promise him, not to cry, he will has a big surprise for me. So I'm very excited now. It's just crazy! Now, when it's time for me to go to the next host in France, it is starting to get nice weather here and we could do so much, what we couldn't made in the last weeks. But I'm also excited about France! The spring has just started yet, and my adventure will be so long! I need to pack my suitcase now and get ready to leave.
And I'm very tired from being outside in the garden, so I maybe want to go to bed real soon. ... alone? Hmmm... who knows....

Hello again. Wow, I was so lucky. Today we had a great sunny day. It was a big surprise for me. Katrin, Jessy and Horst wanted to make my very last day here as special as possible and so they took me again to Dresden. Finally we could visit the pretty, pretty city and all the famous buildings. We visited the Women's church and there was a concert inside. It was fascinating, to see what they re-build. It is such a nice church. I needed to lay my head back to see all the pretty paintings on the ceiling. We also went to the museum "Grünes Gewölbe" to take a view on the treasures of King August. Wow!! What a glamour. I felt like a princes. In the near of the Altmarkt we had a dinner, Carpaccio for Katrin, Mozzarella-Baguette for Jessy and Horst and me had a daisy-salad :-) which was for free. It was such a nice day. Horst gave me a friendship bracelet with a litte bell on it. He said, every pretty cow needs a golden bell. Tonight we will spend our very last night together and I will leave here early in the morning. I'm so sad now because I enjoyed being here so much! But I will come back when I'm done with my journey and then I will tell Horst all my adventures - I hope, he will wait for me and doesn't fall in love with another cow while I'm away.... Here are the pictures from today

on the road again..., Germany/France - 14th April 2008
By: CathyB
yaaaawwwwwwnnn!!!! It's early in the morning, when it was time for me, to say goodbye to Germany for a while. Horst woke me up with a very long, soft kiss and we had some fun between the sheets and a very last breakfast together in bed. Then Mr. and Mrs. Pocket called and told me, to get ready. They will go on a camping tour through Europe and told me to take me with them for half way. But Horst had a big surprise for me. He brought me to the garage, where his bike stands. "This is my Buell", he said. "A very nice machine. I sometimes call it my little devil's plaything. If you promise me to come back, you can have it for a while. " I freaked out. WoW!!!!! Now I'm a biker. This is so F&%$ cool!!!!!! I made some turns around the block and woke up all neighbors. Then I took my suitcase, said goodbye to everyone and was ready to start into the sunrise. VIVE LA FRANCE!!! I'm on the way. I ride with the wind. And I also learned some important french words, they will help me, to communicate with my new host. "Salut" means Hello; "Cafe" - means Coffee, "Lait" is the milk and "Cafe au lait" is Coffee with milk - an easy language!!! Dear Horst, please don't cry. I will come back and I promise you to be nice to your bike. I'll write you a postcard when I'm in Toulouse to let you know, what's going on here. But now it's time for me. ROCK AND ROLL, BABY!!!

Toulouse, France - 22nd April 2008
By: Mistigree
MEUH !!!!
"Meuh" explained me Mistigree is the noise that makes a cow in France !!
I arrived in Toulouse while Mistigree was on holiday in Belgium, and I was welcomed by Bonz, another ToyVoyager who arrived just some days before me.
Bonz is a skeleton, and I was a little scared at the begining but I learnt to know him and he's very kind in fact .
I was very hungry when I arrived, therefore I went outside and ate some daisies ! The grass is so green here, it is definitely spring in France !
