\Good Morning! Its Christmas! Last night we spent Christmas Eve with my host's husband's family, but we didn't get to take pictures. Sam was afraid that with all the chaos and excitement we might get lost.

First off, this is the Christmas tree at my host's house. She would like to put up a much larger tree, but unfortunately her cats will not leave a Christmas tree alone, so she can only have a small one that is anchored to the wall.

My host and her husband spent Christmas morning opening their gifts from each other and from some other family members and friends. Look at all the goodies!

Afterward, we all went to Sam's mom and step-dad's house for a wonderful Christmas breakfast. Yum!

All in all, I had a very nice Christmas!

Fort Kent, ME, United States - 26th May 2010

Hello Mom!

Today we went on a short trip to town and had some fun at the local park.
Before we got there we stopped at the Block House.
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c145/livesinshadows/CIMG0536.jpg
The Fort Kent blockhouse is the only extant fortification relating to the "Bloodless" Aroostook War of 1838-39, and the border dispute between Great Britain and the United States. The signing of the Webster-Ashburton Treaty in 1842 settled the boundary dispute between Maine and New Brunswick and reduced the need for a fort, although federal troops remained there until 1845 to protect Maine's and the United States' interests in the region. In addition to being listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the structure is a National Historic Landmark.

Here are some photos of me at Riverside Park!

Here I was introduced to one of Becca's friends her name is Krystal. She's very nice :)

Worcester, Massachusetts, United States - 31st May 2010

By: beccasaurus

Hello Mom!

Last night and this morning has been filled with traveling. We took a very long 8 hour drive all the way from Fort Kent, Maine to Worcester, Massachusetts where Becca is from.

Since we were all tired from the traveling we took this day to just relax.

First we had a nice yummy snack of strawberry shortcake.
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c145/livesinshadows/CIMG0589.jpg

Then me and my friends Xrundel=) and Alister Gator relaxed and had some fun by the pool.
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c145/livesinshadows/CIMG0848.jpg

We were all very safe and used floaties when we swam.

http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c145/livesinshadows/CIMG0868.jpg

It was the perfect day to be by the pool, since the sun was out and shining bright.

I've had fun in Worcester so far. I can't wait for the rest of the week!

Hi again Mom!

Today we went only on a short trip to the ZOO!!

We saw a lot of awesome animals up close and we got to pet some deer.
(I'm not in some of the pictures below, but I wanted to show you some of the animals we saw).

Here I am at the entrance!
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c145/livesinshadows/CIMG0620.jpg

Along the way I was able to meet a fellow rabbit. He wasn't allowed out of his cage at the time, but I still had a nice chat with him.
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c145/livesinshadows/CIMG0780.jpg

We also saw some African Porcupines that we pretty cool.
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c145/livesinshadows/CIMG0647.jpg

and this baboon:
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c145/livesinshadows/CIMG0651.jpg

We stopped for a photo op with some chimps:
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c145/livesinshadows/CIMG0660.jpg

Next we went into the deer park we're the we were able to get close enough to the deer to pet and feed them:
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c145/livesinshadows/CIMG0671.jpg
after walking around for quite awhile we stopped and had some ice cream before moving onto see the Giraffes:

http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c145/livesinshadows/CIMG0697.jpg

We also saw an albino Peacock just wandering around! Becca likes these birds and we found it interesting because we have never seen a pure white peacock before. We tried to coax it into opening it tail feathers but it refused.

This day at the zoo was great and I was happy to go :)
