Travelog for: Bally

Dear Mommy,
Jayme has been busy so we decided to help her around the house some. We helped with the laundry.

Then we did some dusting, we found this neat Capital building. Jayme says its a puzzle she got her husband for their anniversary. They would take it apart, but now the kids use it as a parking garage for their cars.

We snuck some cookies to help out Jayme with her diet

Then we had to do the vacuuming! Jayme doesn't have a regular vacuum, she has a roomba. Have you seen one? It goes around and cleans up like a little UFO. We took a ride on it.

Jayme says we'll be headed to the park next since we got all the cleaning done!

We took a nice long walk at this place called Comprehensive Park. Do you remember our last visit there? Can you find all 4 toyvoyagers in the tree?

This walkway leads down to a rock beach, but we didn't go down that way today because we were following one of the trails. If you look, you can see the ocean though.

We kept walking and came along this little fish pond. Usually Jayme says they stop to feed the fish here, but they forgot the fish food today. Guess the fish will have to wait awhile for their next meal. It had some very pretty bridges though.

We took a break here and all sat on a chair for awhile.

While we were walking past the fish pond, there was a building with this neat gate. Jayme says its called a torii gate and they're found all over the island. Sometimes on the ancient castles, and sometimes at the entrance to homes.

We sat and took another break near some flowers. It was a very long walk!

Finally we made it back to the car! I'll write more soon,

Today when we came home we came home ot a surprise. First, Bobbie had arrived! Jayme had been quite worried about her. She had also found two little pandas. Jayme explained to them that toyvoyagers.com was going to have a big mass release and she would be glad to send them out as travelers. They were very excited!

But since they were in the free pile in Jayme's apartment (a place where people leave things when they're moving or just cleaning out) they needed a bath first. In they went!

And out they came nice and clean!

After that it was also time to say goodbye to Resi. She'll be continuing on in her travels. I hope she has fun!

Dear Mommy,
Today was my last day in Okinawa! It was very rainy, but the rain broke long enough for me to get some time in at the playground. We started out on the play area up top.

Then we went down this giant slide! It was very big, and rather scary, but Jayme made sure we were all safe.

I got to monkey around some on the rope area

And we played on the teeter totter

Then it was time for me to get into my envelope. I hope I have lots of fun with my next host!

I am now on a plane and going to Spain to visit Kat!! I am excited as I have never gone to Spain! I had fun at Jaymes and I hope to see her again someday when she moves closer to me

Hola from Tenerife!

I arrived on Tuesday while my host Katja was at work. We have finally managed to take a couple of photos. It's been raining for 2 days so it's not been that nice so far, this morning it was sunny though when Katja went to work. I got some palm trees on the sunny photo



But on our way back home, it started getting cloudy again...


Now my host will have to go clean her oven and then she will go back to work and hopefully we'll get some more photos in the afternoon. Tomorrow we will be making a birthday cake for a friend Oh, and I've also met some other ToyVoyagers here, I will introduce them to you a bit later.

After Katja finished work, we went to the post office in Las Galletas to pick up a parcel she had received.

Today we went out to celebrate my host's friends birthday that was actually a couple of weeks ago.


Another ToyVoyager arrived this afternoon Bella and of course she joined the party

I finally got to see Katja's workplace. She's actually got two jobs until next month but this is her full time work place. She works as an interpreter/receptionist in a small clinic.

We just realised that we hadn't really had muh of a nose around our host's apartment and we also thought you might want to see their two cats so we've been taking some terrace pictures today.


The black and white cat is called Felix and the grey one is Katie. They both love playing with card board boxes...yes the piece of card board Katie's on used to be a box

Katja's boyfriend used to study horticulture and you can see that on their terrace, there are lots of different plants going there. Here are photos of some of them.

Today we've been to Los Cristianos. There was a Canarian food fair going but it wasn't quite as big as we had expected. We only got this photo from there:



The fair was at the cultural centre and there was also a display of school kids recycle art





Then we walked to the beach front near the port and sat there for a while





Then we just walked around a bit



Tomorrow we'll go to a classic car show.
