I've returned from Ukraine - for two weeks I was in Crimea not far from Yalta, a city on the Black Sea!
My first pictures from the train by which we went there...

We went to a mountain Ay-Petri by a ropeway... And the last 100 meters by step. At last we are on the top!

We also went to Bakhchisaray and Chufut-Kale. Bakhchisaray - is a town in Central Crimea, the former capital of the Crimean Khanate. We visited Khan's Palace built in 16th century. And Chufut-Kale - a cave city, historic fortress.

And now - Balaklava, a town not far from Sevastopol. It has an underground, formerly classified submarine base that was operational until 1993. The base was said to be virtually indestructible and designed to survive a direct atomic impact. During that period, Balaklava was one of the most secret residential areas in the Soviet Union. In 1996, the last Russian submarine left the base, which is now open to the public for guided tours around the canal system, the base, and a small museum, which is now housed in the old ammunition warehouse deep inside the hillside.

Sorry for such a long silence! I am absolutely OK and now will tell you about interesting places I've seen in Moscow.
My first picture - Ostankinskaya television and radio tower, the tallest in Europe. Its height is 540.1 m (1,772.0 ft). It is named after the Ostankino district of Moscow in which it is located. Its construction was completed in 1967.
The second picture - a rocket "Vostok". The same rocket was used by Yury Gagarin in his famous flight in 1962.
